I managed to get the week off work and made plans with my old man to fish our local harbor today. Even though everything seemed right we just couldn't take a trick and the day ended with a quick run back to the boat ramp to beat one of the tropical storms we get. I met with client this noon, then with my sis we went to Plaza Semanggi. We were hang out at Soho and here where my bad day begun. - First, I have a big fight with my friend. Infosys results for this quarter have generally disappointed the markets resulting in a bad day for IT stocks in general. Infosys crashed by almost 7% today and closed at Rs 1976. Satyam lost about 8.5 % today and closed at Rs 448. All the sectors were up today except for IT. The major factor contributing towards this downfall is obviously the rising rupee. Train derails (not far from where we live) causing a huge fire and couple of schools closing. So I'm minding my own business and cleaning the house when what to my wondering eyes should appear? An angry MCB, that fills me full of fear. At the time I wasn't sure what was making him so angry. Well, my baby has finally experienced his first bad day. His bad day started out like any other bad day. He woke up happy and excited and it all went downhill from there. The discipline system in his school is a card system. They all start on green and can progress through yellow, white, red, and black. Black means you get sent home because you've already seen the principal and he apparently didn't put the fear of God into you enough to make you behave. So, last night I'm innocently emptying the dishwasher and washing the coffee pot when in blunders MCB. Obviously he had been out gettin' his drink on as he waddled past me grunting a few words and stomped up the stairs to bed. A few moments later, I heard yelling coming from MCB's bedroom. When I inquired what the matter was, he mumbled down something about "What The Hell Are You Doing Down There ??!!". I was confused because all I was doing was loading the dishwasher. It hasn't been the best of days for guys that are downright horrible at the art of pitching. The Marlins and Rockies traded Byung-Hyun Kim for Jorge Julio, while the Twins released Sidney Ponson.The Marlins trade seems to make sense on some levels because both guys are as bad they can be right now and a change of scenery might help both out, but I'm not counting on it. +27030200 sharesI was surprised at my pnl because I had a lot of losers today. I did not trade well in the morning. I was scrambling and flipping through charts looking for trades. I started of with a couple of losers and I was down over $150 in the first few minutes. It is good that I covered my pnl. If I saw I was down that much it would have a big influence on my trading. I would probably be trading scared or doing revenge trading. Another thing I did right is to keep my size at 200 shares. I had quite a few hits over 30 cents because I hesitated on my exits. I was tempted to check my pnl and see how I am doing. If I did I would probably have my excuse to stop for the day. It is good that I kept trading because later on I caught two small scalps which helped me make the bulk of my profits.

Yesterday was about as bad as one could get for Pittsburgh sports. First, the day starts with news that a caravan of school buses crashed en route to the Pirate game. Who were the buses carrying? 300 Laurel Highlands Middle School 8th graders who were going to sing the national anthem. The last 24-48 hours have been kind of rough or as Daniel Powter so aptly and succinctly put it when he sang on American Idol last season, I’ve “had a bad day.” Nothing catastrophic happened and no major emergency occurred.
