My original pick for the Bachelorette/awesome super dad/eventual snubbed suitor Jason Mesnick is officially the next Bachelor. His season starts in January 2009.I am happy for him, but sad that he has to spend another 8-10 weeks away from that sweet little boy of his. At least he'll end up with the lady on his arm this time. I don't think I can stand seeing him get rejected again..tragic.He seems

Seriously, 'wow' is about the only thing I can think of to say to the finale of The Bachelorette. Deanna chose Jesse, the free spirited snow something. (boarder, maybe?) I just never found the Jesse/Deanna connection to be warming or intriguing or interesting---maybe that was production's fault? Edit?Their 'big surprise announcement' was that they had set their wedding date. (but most of us alread

Jason, Jeremy and Jesse all wait to learn which one goes home and which two will have one more chance to prove to DeAnna that he is the man who will be her husband. Before planning any of these games, make sure the bride is willing to play long with them and is outgoing enough for the "public naughty" games.
You don't want to put her on the spot or make her feel uncomfortable. However, if she's game and willing, many of these games are very popular and extremely fun for girls who enjoy a good time.

Okay, is it me, or do you think all the guys on the Bachelorette are great? Now that Graham is gone, I would be okay with DeAnna having a relationship with any of the guys. Now that he has gone home, I think any of the remaining guys would be great for DeAnna.I have liked Jason since the f

Spring is in the air and the most popular time for marriages is fast approaching.
Probably in the next few weeks or months, you will either be attending or giving a Bridal Shower or a Bachelorette Party.
Although it is not known exactly how the Bridal Shower idea developed, it is thought that friends and relatives of the bride got together to create a party for the bride to provide her with gifts for her marriage.
Traditionally, the maid or matron of honor or a close friend of the bride gives the bridal shower, while Bachelorette Parties have become the equivalent of the groom's bachelor party.
In the 1890s, the female friends of the bride would place small gifts and lingerie into a parasol, which would then be opened over the bride, thus showering her with
I have the best bridesmaids in the world. They rented a massive gorgeous house in Brigantine, New Jersey, so that we could have a weekend long celebration. We arrived later than expected on Friday because a mapquest print-out and a GPS couldn't help a car full of girls with no sense of direction. Our plan was to make dinner in the house on Friday night and Brunch on Saturday. The kitchen was huge with two sinks, and pretty well stocked. My only complaint was that the range/oven was really weak. The broiler wasn't able to get any crispy charring on the T-bone steaks and it took a long time just to melt the Fontina on our bread covered in caramelized onions. We also made salmon, sauteed asparagus, tomato and buffalo mozzarella, all easy preparations since we didn't know what the kitchen would

By: Deon Melchior If you are a maid of honor or bridesmaid planning a bachelorette party, there are a variety of great themes that can make your party stand out. Bachelorette parties, since they are designed just for girls, are the prefect opportunity to use your creative energy and come up with a special theme. Remember to give the bachelorette party guests enough time to plan on what they will wear instead of telling them just before the bachelorette party so they have time to get creative and plan cute outfits. One great theme is the black and white bachelorette party. Color is a great way to signify and unify the bridesmaids and the bachelorette at the party, especially if you are going out on the town. It is fun to have the bridesmaids all dress in black (or some other color, such as red) and have the bachelorette dress in white. A great way to do this is have the bride wear a white blouse or dress and the bridesmaids all wear black cocktail dresses.Another theme to consider is a r

Trista and Ryan met on ABC’s first installment of The Bachelorette. They married in a lavish wedding that was televised in December 2003.

Longoria and Parker also held their bachelor parties in the French sea-side port. Tony and his pals partied on one side of a club while Eva and her girlfriends had fun on the opposite side.

With the traditional wedding month of June heading our way, it seems that there is talk of weddings everywhere I turn. Every day I hear about another friend or acquaintance who is getting set to take the plunge. It's all a bit much for me. Thankfully, where there are weddings, there are bachelorette parties.Bride Tank Top$19.99Available at: Bachelorette.comAre you ready for bachelorette party season? Steph wrote a few days ago about how she finally had the straw that broke the single mom’s back while her husband is off traveling. And, admittedly, she has WAAAAY more on her plate than I do. So whining feels a bit silly for me.
(Not gonna stop me, but I thought I’d admit that it FEELS silly.)
Last night, I did as I always do. I made it home around 5, stayed home long enough to wash some dishes and feed the dogs, and then headed back out to Costco. I spent about an hour there, stopped at their gas pumps to fill up, and headed home. After carting in TWO cases of bottled drinks, and unloading all of the groceries, I made it in.
It was almost seven by this point. I had SO hoped to be done before this.
While I occassionally have the young child (The Boy) in my house, for the most part, I’m childless. I do, however, have a bazillion animals who all depend on me to care for them. And while none of my animals are exactly high-maintenance, I do liken
The apartment will either be a studio apartment, a loft or even a single bedroom that's big enough for me to entertain a few friends over. It'll be situated in an older neighbourhood, where there are friendly retirees playing chess or checkers at the void deck and the kids are out playing in the playground as they should be instead of being locked up at home and chained to their computer games.
I have just heard about the dumbest idea for a bachelorette party. The lady to be married will be driving, three friends (one she knows) will know where she is driving and stop her in her tracks. They will be dressed up like hijackers and pull her over, pull her out of her car and "hijack" her to her party.
WHAT ARE THESE MORONS THINKING????
