Amisha Patel seems to have burried the hatchet with director Priyadarshan over her Bhool Bhulaiya fiasco and now working in his next, Billoo Barber, which will indeed be produced by Shah Rukh Khan.The film is a comedy about two childhood friends – a barber and a rich filmstar. While SRK plays the superstar, Irrfan Khan is playing the his barber friend who comes to meet him after many years.The film is apparently inspired from the Krishna-Sudama episode and reported to be a remake of Malayalam film Katha Parayumbol.Though Amisha plays the barber’s wife in the movie, she will also have some scenes with SRK. This would be the second time Amisha would share the screen space with King Khan after her miniscule cameo with him in Om Shanti Om .

It’s a surprise to see that Yash Raj films couldn’t do well. Bhool Bhulaiyya has done better than Laaga chunari mein daag in the overseas. Bhool Bhulaiyya is a Psychological thriller and it’s a very interesting story about a dancer’s ghost coming back to take revenge from the person who had killed her boyfriend. LCMD on the other hand is the story of a Woman’s journey of how she turns from a illiterate to a very posh and Educated girl, sounds interesting na - but the fact is that it has not done as well as Bhool Bhulaiyya. Checking out the actual grosses in the UK, during the first weekend, Bhool Bhulaiyaa collected $598,341 with an impressive print average of $13,296. In comparison, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag obtained $501,714 with a good print average of $11,149. In the US, Bhool Bhulaiyaa grossed $512,000 with a print average of $9,309. Comparatively, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag grossed only $320,987 with an ordinary print average of $5,349, during the first weekend.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa is finally out and I think the movie is an average fare. Priyadarshan is not that comfortable in mixing horror with comedy. I think priyadarshan should stick to his slapstick comedies. Acting wise Vidya Balan impresses. Other actors do their routine work. Even critics share similar feelings.

His elder brother’s son Siddharth (Shiney Ahuja) and his wife Avni (Vidya Balan) return to their ancestral village after living in US for many years. Siddharth insists in staying in his ancestral palace which for long has been uninhabited as it’s considered to be haunted. Despite opposition the newly wed couple shifts to their ancestral mansion. Avni an adventurous girl breaks the ground rules to explore the room considered to be the devil’s home.
