Security is most important aspect of any Information technology organization. People working in IT company think that installing, maintaining and configuring security is not their responsibility, rather most of them think that it’s the job of security administrator or network administrator. No security solution can be effectively implemented without the help and collaboration of [...]

May 1st is the official RSS Awareness Day. If you are reading this blog, you probably don't need and explanation of what RSS is, however there are many people out there that still have no idea how to use it. If you know someone that needs a good explanation, help spread the word and send them this link so they can watch this short tutorial:

Today is RSS Awareness Day: a celebration of RSS (Real Simple Syndication) when we can spread awareness of the benefits of RSS and encourage others to use this too.RSS is a format used to deliver content in an easily distributable form from websites which are updated regularly. Most blogging systems, for example provide an RSS or Atom feed to accompany the pages of the blog.In this post, I'll explain the basics of blog feeds with particular reference to Blogger powered feeds; how they are useful for your blog readers and how blog authors can make their feeds more useful and accessible too.
What are RSS and Atom Feeds?RSS and Atom essentially perform the same function: they offer updates to a blog or website in a portable format. It's like the difference between Internet Explorer and Fi

Carlos Chavez / Los Angeles TimesJennifer Moss, 32, was arrested for indecent exposure after she stripped down to her hemp g-string and flower pasties in front a crowd of parishioners who just attended Easter Sunday Mass at an Ojai, California Catholic church. Why? "There are so many bad people who are hurting and destroying the Earth, and many of them are religious people." Naked activism is nothing new to the perky brunette, however. She has been zipping around the town on a bicycle for the past year promoting natural fibered clothing and earth awareness, earning the nickname "Earth Friend Jen" and dividing the populace into "pro and con Pastie Lady camps." As part of our ongoing environmental strategy, we are supporting National Compost Awareness Week. We have a Swedish made hot composter for disposing of our food and biodegradable consumables waste, which seems be working well. However we have now decided to expand upon this idea by installing a hot composter, along with its supporting ancilliaries, into one of our prime mover (heavy transport vehicles). This will be ideal for events that last more than one day, meaning food and other degradable waste can be disposed of immediately, instead of either being stored for transport back to our base, or disposed of into landfill.
More details can be found at National Compost Awareness Week.

More Thoughts Loved of The LORD, to continue in this direction of conscious awareness, I was pleasantly surprised that writing enhanced and strengthened it. Let me explain. I have this ‘little thing’ that bugs me. My neighbor has gofers and does not consistently eradicate them. The neighborhood is inundated with them, so it is an ongoing challenge. When one invades my premises, as soon as I am ‘aware’ I proceed to drown them out and/or gas bomb them. That way they do not get to establish their tunnel systems. BTW! I have cursed them in JESUS’ Name and my neighbor 2 doors north has told me not to curse them in his direction! He has wound up with some in his yard, every time I have done it, whether it was the same one(s) or not. Well, back to the chase! Aft
When God paints.... Is the break I needed after going solo for a couple hours today. In other words; the pleasures of accomplishment seem to shift that conscious 'Awareness' somewhat to the side and now paying attention to the 'Near Misses' when they are seen is that cue to check back and in. I now you will enjoy this as much as I did/do!Click Here {I could not get it to embed. :-( }Even this small amount of time to write about the video brings me to where I want to be.Have a wonderful day! 1 aka DP
More ThoughtsLoved of The LORD, continuing on from a previous post where I wrote, “yet exercises, as writing this Post helps me along the way” and immediately after finishing it , I found myself very aware of “Being In HIS Presence”! With other things still on my plate, the phone rings and I am having a mentoring conversation, and wisdom flowing as if it was coming through another vessel.Soon after hanging up, and as I was reflecting in amazement on that call, the phone rings again and it is a long time friend, who sounds frustrated, and wants to go to breakfast in the next week on his day off. While on the phone setting up the appointment, still aware of “Being In HIS Presence” I was also aware that it was going to be an interesting breakfast. It turned out to be a stretching

We've had some times together that I was so glad that my Mum knew what do to in an emergency. And we've had some friends that had some emergencies of their own. From Gracie eating something that she shouldn't, to our good friend Tish helping her pup live through a very scary choking incident, to pup friends with cut pads, to me getting stung on the nose by a bee, and much more - we knew what to do because we boned up on some basic first aid techniques. And we encourage every pup owner to learn what to do in an emergency! Here are some resources you'll want to keep on hand, read and study:Take a pet first aid course from the American Red Cross - find a class near you!Keep this

History has been made. The first World Autism Awareness Day has come and gone. CNN, to their credit, featured many more faces of autism, albeit briefly. CNN, to its discredit, returned to its fixation with "atypical" autistic person Amanda Baggs and her neurodiversity, "WE don't want a cure", ideology. But there is no denying that people around the world had their awareness of autism raised to one extent or another. Visits to autism blogs like this one doubled or more on April 2, 2008. OK, we have more autism awareness, now what? For this father of a 12 year old boy with Autistic Disorder with profound developmental delays the fight will continue to help improve his situation in life and hopefully that of some other autistic children and adults here in New Brunswick and possibly elswew

All lesbians inherit a political history. This history is unique in that lesbians acquire it at birth, yet their parents usually do not teach it to them. This history extends back farther than the origins of all the major religions, and yet it is at the same time untraceable. There are no documents chronicling our passages through time. The global nature of our sisterhood precludes a comprehensive accounting for all our composite actions throughout the millennia.Unlike the majority of communities, we have neither unifying texts nor common rituals; ours is a community not borne out of shared cultural traditions but rather out of the disparate obstacles that we all eventually encounter. We have conquered a variety of these obstacles in many places via hard-fought battles--many of the hardest of
What is Cesarean Awareness Month? An internationally recognized month of awareness about the impact of cesarean sections on mothers, babies, and families worldwide. It's about educating yourself to the pros and cons of major abdominal surgery and the possibilities for healthy birth afterwards as well as educating yourself for prevention of cesarean section.Cesarean awareness is for mothers who are expecting or who might choose to be in the future. It's for daughters who don't realize what choices are being taken away from them. It's for scientists studying the effects of cesareans and how birth impacts our lives. It's for grandmothers who won't be having more children but are questioning the abdominal pains and adhesions causing damage 30 years after their cesareans.CESAREANS are serious.

Let us empower them and respond to their needs today, so as to make our societies more accessible, enabling and empowering for all our children tomorrow."autism

History is being made today; the first World Autism Awareness Day as declared by the United Nations General Assembly. Qatar led the international effort to being about this result and that effort should not be overlooked or diminished. In North America and Europe there is a movement which has tried to romanticize and glorify "autism"and which actively attempts to suppress discussion of the harsher realities faced by many autistic people. Governments, particularly the Canadian government of Prime Minister Stephen Harper, have been quick to point to the views of people in this movement as an indication of lack of agreement on what should be done to help persons with autism thus justifying the Harper's government refusal to take serious steps to address Canada's autism crisis.Almost

The founder of a group dedicated to improving the treatment of America's wrongfully accused prisoners made his way through Carson City last week as part of his plan to jog across the country. The mission is to raise awareness of the struggle of those who have been wrongfully imprisoned, to provide funds to assist with gaining their release, and to offer hope and help to those who have been exonerated. "This isn't just a local problem," Steve Ivanovich said as he took a breather in front of the state Supreme Court. "In 28 states including Nevada, people who serve time and (then) are found innocent get nothing. They're just supposed to pick up their lives right where they left off, even if they've been in prison for years. That's not how it works."Ivanovich, an Indiana native who served jail
This month I am going to be doing a few posts about what it's like to raise a child with Aspergers. I'm going to try to get Joseph to give me his take on what it's like to have Aspergers. I do not hide my contempt for CNN's coverage of autism issues. CNN's coverage is, at best light and fluffy feel good stuff with little influence in the discussion of autism issues by people trying to actually help the many children and adults with autism disorders. At worst CNN coverage misrepresents the nature of autism and autism interventions. But there is some good media coverage of autism available. For World Autism Awareness Day I personally recommend that anyone interested in getting a realistic picture of autism try reading the Vancouver Sun's outstanding six part series Faces of Autism by columnist Pete McMartin with photos by Glenn Baglo.Faces of Autism provides gritty, coverage of persons with autism, their life prospects and the impact that autism has on many families. T
April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day. Hopefully the UN declaration will have the effect of creating real awareness of Autism Disorder and the related Pervasive Developmental Disorders. The prospects of that happening are slim though. It is much more likely that more confusion about autism will be created by the large media organizations such as CNN that dominate world protrayal of autism. The biggest obstacle to generating real autism awareness will be big business, the big business of maintaining ratings for a large news organization like CNN. To generate media attention CNN will provide feel good stories. CNN will, yet again, interview Amanda Baggs, a "voice of autism" largely created by past CNN promotion. Ms Baggs is a very intellligent and articulate person in her late 20's di
HIV/AIDS Awareness In Rawson Square:
By Sasha L. Lightbourne -
Nassau, Bahamas:
With HIV/AIDS on the increase among young persons in The Bahamas, one group felt it necessary to take the message of awareness and prevention to the streets.
Youth Ambassadors for Positive Living (YAPL) took to Rawson Square on Friday to educate and inform young people about the overwhelming epidemic of HIV/AIDS within The Bahamas.
Keith Kemp, chairman of YAPL, told the Bahama Journal that there was a need to take a different approach to awareness and prevention education.
"We are here in Rawson Square because we as a youth organization are moving our information from a classroom type setting or church or youth group in terms of presentation and are looking at bringing information to the streets to the a
Awareness is energy. So energy is aware – more exact would be that energy is awareness itself – so what is it aware of? Light is simply aware of being light. The strong force is aware of itself. Not-I is aware of not-Iness (love). However, “I” is only aware of I-ness, of being a separate point of awareness. I only know what I am aware of. With a lot of empathy, I can imagine what other life forms are aware of, but can’t even guess what non-life forms such as protons are aware of. Can a human (“I”) possibly comprehend this? No. The only way to know not-I is to become not-I, in which case there is no I left to comprehend. Personal experience tells me I am both energy (life force/breath) and awareness/consciousness. Both exit the body at death, which would ind
Autism Society Canada Celebrates World Autism Awareness Day with Call to ActionOTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire – March 25, 2008)On December 18, 2007, the United Nations General Assembly adopted resolution 62/139 World Autism Awareness Day, by unanimous consent, encouraging UN Member States to take measures to raise world-wide awareness about autism and to promote early diagnosis, early intervention and necessary services for individuals with ASD and their families. So what is it that is aware? When searching inside, all that can ultimately be found is awareness itself. An individual (“I”) is simply a unique, very limited point of view of awareness itself, expressed as both “I” and “not-I.”Being awareness itself, God then must know all. Since God is spirit (by definition), spirit is awareness, both immanent (as I) and transcendent (as not-I).

And I am VERY lucky I was tested this year because they did find and remove polyps that would have, if they remained, become cancerous. My mother had 18 inches of her colon removed after her very first endoscopy revealed that she had a cancerous tumor. She was 40. Life is busy. Life is too busy. I often feel like we get so drawn in by the business of life, and so focused on our worries, cares, and responsibilities, that we miss much of the beauty of life. There is much God has for us, and desires for us to notice and appreciate. One of the things I enjoy most about being the parent of a toddler is seeing life through his eyes.My three year old son doesn't seem to miss much. He never misses the beauty of a flower or a squirrel scurrying along the fence. He never fails to stop and enjoy a passing train, or an interesting rock on the ground. He appreciates the "little" things in life, the things of life that we are so prone to miss.
