Mercedes-Benz is reported to be developing a new version of its S-class limo equipped with an ultra-efficient Bluetec diesel engine. With a motor displacing just 2.2L, the new diesel driven S-class should return a fuel economy rating of just 6.6L per 100km, or roughly 35mpg.We should get our first glimpse of the new car at September’s Frankfurt Auto Show, with production scheduled to start towards the end of next year. The Melbourne International Autoshow, the most popular one in Australia, has come to a close and it is our job to post our highlight of this year's autoshow in the Down Under. Most of the debuts were Australian premieres with most being Aussie-exclusive. The press days of this year's autoshow in the Windy City have come to a close and the public has started to roam the showfloor in awe. Over the past week, many long-anticipated vehicles, especially production vehicles, had made their world debut including the Pontiac G8 and the Toyota Highlander.To experience the show fully, the best idea is to fly over to McCormick Place and wonder whether the G8 is better than the CTS or vice versa.
