Robby Ginepri vs John Isner - Auckland

Sam Querrey vs Gilles Muller - ATP Auckland

Auckland A picturesque modern city in New Zealand
Auckland has been blessed with one of the most picturesque settings of any modern city in the world. Nowhere else in New Zealand are you closer to the east and west coasts, a feature which gives Aucklanders ample access to the water. Yachts, power boats, kayaks, windsurfers and jet skis all dart around the islands in the Waitemata Harbour whilst fishermen drop their lines and divers check out

Both the Wallaby and All Black squads have been announced for the next Tri-Nations at Eden Park. For the Wallabies their captain and kiwi destroyer Mortlock is back. Cross drops to the bench and Tahu gets across the ditch as the 23rd man (I guess this gives an idea on Aussie Robbie's rating of the ex-Mungo). The only other change from Sydney is Phil Waugh in for the injured Rocky Elsom. I... ..

      Whirinaki - Auckland Anniversary 2008
Day 1 - Road End to Central Whirinaki Hut (6hrs) This is one of my favourite areas for tramping in New Zealand which forms part of the Te Urewera National Park. We managed to make good time making it into the forest and to the Whirinaki Falls for a spot of lunch. Here we bumped into a group from the Waikato tramping club who turned out to be our companions for the rest of the weekend.   The rest of the day was easy walking and we made it to the Central Whirinaki hut with plenty of daylight and setup out tents in such a way the snorers were at a safe distance. As evening approached we were unable to locate any native Whio (Blue Duck) as we have seen on previous visits. Unfortunately Ish managed to get some stubborn substance in his eye that wouldn't budge no matter what we tried. E

Auckland International Airport board rejects Canadian bid
The board of Auckland International Airport Monday recommended shareholders reject a partial takeover bid for New Zealand’s air transport hub by a Canadian pension fund. "We do not believe the offer fully reflects the value of Auckland Airport," chairman Tony Frankham said. Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) has offered 3.6555 dollars a share for 39.53 percent of the airport, which handles 70 percent of international arrivals to New Zealand. Frankham said in a statement that the pension fund would not offer any material advantage to the airport, which would be valued under the partial bid at 4.46 billion dollars (3.4 billion US). "While CPPIB would be a committed investor, the board is concerned that they bring little in the way of direct airport experience and, as a passive investment fund, have limited scope to directly contribute to Auckland Airport’s growth strategy." "While the takeover offer has some attractive aspects, on balance

Search Engine Room Conference : Auckland, November 2007
When it comes to New Zealand search, we’re onto it. As the home of smart search in New Zealand, NZS’ers like to stay on top of both local and international search trends, so it was a must for us to attend the inaugural New Zealand Search Engine Room Conference on Tuesday 13th November in Auckland. The first major outing for the search engine industry in New Zealand was attended by companies from within the growing NZ search industry, as well as by many sales and marketing managers looking to get in on the rise of performance-based search advertising around the world. Big name exhibitors Exhibitors included Google, SLI-Systems, Netconcepts, FirstRate, Alekemi and SureFire, along with representatives from many big name brands such as Microsoft, Yahoo! and DoubleClick. Dr Grant Ryan from Eurekster was the keynote speaker who kicked off the morning sessions, with heavyweights from the search industry - Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft - completing the morning. anyone been to Auckland?
Whenever someone talks about Auckland New Zealand, I'll have so much to share. This is because our family spent 28 days traveling in both the north and south islands of New Zealand in 2005. It was an awesome and memorable experience of a lifetime. Though we couldn't do everything we wanted with a one year old boy, we did good with some extreme adventures and family friendly activities. For those of you who love badminton, you may like to take this opportunity to visit Auckland and attend the Waitakere World Junior Badminton Championships 2007! Oops, but you only have 4 more days to catch this exciting event. But nature and flower lovers would enjoy the Parnell Festival of Roses and Ellerslie International Flower Show. Parnell is a great place to enjoy a nice afternoon lunch or a fine dinner by one of the popular restaurants. When it comes to Auckland Hotels, you should take time to search and compare prices on the web. As for us, we prefer to stay in an apartment for our Auckland acco

Der Telespargel – Highlight von Auckland
(Auckland/Neuseeland).

Langham Hotel Auckland wins New Zealand's Top Visitor Accommodation
This win follows the property's Best New Zealand City Hotel win earlier in the month at the 2007 HM Awards for Hotel and Accommodation Excellence held in Sydney. The Langham brand entered New Zealand in January 2005 and has since invested more than NZ$14 million in their Symonds Street property. The Langham has gone against the current minimalist décor trend and instead created an elegant, opulent and somewhat theatrical environment offering guests an authentic five-star experience unique in New Zealand.

      Auckland, New Zealand
Gee it's been a bit differcult getting near a computer, but it's been a brilliant day so far. The weather has been so good. I've been in a few meetings today and catching up with friends, which makes the day so exciting. (Hence why there hasn't been much happening here). I'm heading off to Auckland (New Zealand's largest city) in the next hour, to spend some time with family (my Nan is sick-not cool) and friends, and also get to a few things that are on in Auckland this coming weekend. I was going to bring some video from the previous weekend, but that hasn't eventuated yet... will try for 2moro now. See how it goes. Hope your having a good one.Marc xx

      back in auckland (reflection)
So now Im back in this shitty old boring place called Auckland, haha no ok im just joking. Though I use to sorta feel this way when all you can do here is study (try to..), eat, laze in the sun and have senseless long afternoon naps. Before taking off to the states I was telling fellow travel buddy jeremy how ridiculous it was that kiwis would go on these big overseas experiences (OEs) just to appreciate what we have in New Zealand...i mean don't u go on OEs to experience what other countries have that we don't!?So...uhum.....yea....during this whole trip, I actually have gained an unexpected appreciation for little NZ. As I have said previously, so many things we take for granted back here..clean air, good sport facilities (like full size swimming pools!), not having to commute an hour cause rent in manhattan is way to expensive...having time to breathe.......and so on...OK besides that, NYC... was freakin awsome! Probably the best experience i've had in my life, and even if w
