Another not so good dream last night. I only remember a little now… I was at a house, kinda like that house I had in my prior dream. And I had all our dogs there. Levi, Lucy, Angel, Chase, Tatum, Bianca and Tony. I had to leave for a bit and the dogs ended up getting attacked by something like a Crumple Horned Snorkak or something. It was dangerous. It killed Tony and someone moved his body, wrapped up, to under my bed. The rest of the dogs were okay. Some injured but not badly. And they ended up crated, by some lady, in a truck. But they were safe. It was not a good dream.

- Congratulations to the New England Revolution for winning the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup last night in a victory over fellow MLS side, FC Dallas, 3-2. Despite numerous great seasons, it is the first trophy of the sides twelve year existence. I actually got to see this match and though it was not the best soccer I've seen, it was entertaining. Probably due to the fact that both sides looked reluctant to play defense and risk injury for their MLS Cup campaigns. My blog was down for a good many hours from last evening to early this morning (Singapore time, GMT +8) due to a Denial of Service attack on the data center where the blog is hosted. It was a situation that I couldn’t do anything about that left me really frustrated, but I thank God for the fact that nothing was lost and things are back to normal now. The Spanish Guardia Civil police station of was attacked today Friday by a car bomb in the Basque city of Durango, injuring two policemen. It is believed to be the first serious attack of the separatist group ETA since it unilaterally ended a cease-fire in June. The blast caused serious damage to the police barracks in Durango, shattering windows and damaging police cars parked outside. Several nearby apartment buildings were also damaged. This has been around for awhile but is worth posting.  In the wilds of Africa a pride of lions attack a young buffalo.  A crocodile gets in on it and a tug of war ensues with the lions versus the crocodile.  Then the buffaloes come back angry and start to kick some lion butt.  Amazingly the small buffalo runs back into the herd.  I don’t know if it survived or not but it is one lucky buffalo.  The only thing missing is an appearance by Tarzan.

A guy snorkeling in Honolulu was bitten on the leg by a Tiger Shark not a great way to start a vacation. He was snorkeling looking for turtles when an eight foot shark took a bite out of him. Two partially eaten turtles were found washed ashore. Just a tip for snorkelers. If you find partially eaten turtles on shore there is a pretty good chance something is preying on them.
