I was in Atlanta for 6 months. It was fun and exciting to be in Atlanta. The buildings are all very high tech as it's a city. There's a lot of thing to do in Atlanta. You can visit the coca-cola museum to see how the history of coca-cola and how the company was form in the beginning. There's also a mock-up of shops selling coke in the past. At the end of the tour you'll have free flow of soft drinks manufactured by coca-cola. The huge Atlanta Underground also provides an endless shopping opportunities. The food court there also let you sample their food which is a pretty nice way of marketing their food. I'm in Atlanta visiting my family and having a great time. Sadly, this is the best internet connection I've been able to get in quite a while since my computer still didn't work properly at home--despite the new router from Apple. Although the weather here has been on the dreary side, spring is clearly in bloom. I'm amazed at the dogwood and cherry blossom trees all over town. I have squealed in delight on several occasions. I've always wanted to get to DC during the cherry blossom season, but I imagine what I'm seeing here is very similar. Tomorrow we have a trip to Chattanooga Tennessee planned. Xavier Nady singled home a run in the top of the 10th inning to lift the Pirates to a 4-3 win over the Braves at Turner Field. Freddy Sanchez, Ronny Paulino and Jack Wilson each plated a run for Pittsburgh, which took two-of-three in the season-opening series. Wilson had to leave the game in the seventh due to a strained calf muscle. Tyler Yates pitched a scoreless inning of relief to pick up the win, and Matt Capps closed things out for his first save. Mike Hampton was scheduled to start on the mound for the Braves, but was a late scratch because of a strained left pectoral muscle. The story goes that these "porcelain" marbles are from the Civil War era and were dug up while excavating in the City of Atlanta in preparation for the Olympics. However, the story is a hoax, and curiously enough, these 3/4" marbles appear to be painted steel balls. I'd throw them away, but they actually make me smile. Who knows, maybe I'll still throw them away?! :)
