The heady total of 425hp is achieved by optimizing the shape for least resistance and a stainless steel sport catalytic converter. The Aston Martin DBS has sold out for the next five years, a report finds. Aston Martin has reportedly received 1500 orders for the new DBS. According to Aston Martin, the company plans to produce 300 DBS cars a year, which equates to a five year waiting list.

To most James Bond movie hounds, Daniel Craig was the star of the most recent James Bond film, Casino Royale. But we speculate that most Car and Driver readers were more interested in seeing his new ride, the Aston Martin DBS, than the hunky new Bond boy. Unfortunately, Bond rendered the slinky supercoupe’s appearance to more of a cameo than a starring role, choosing to roll it several times in a ditch to save his damsel in distress within just minutes of hitting the “engine start” button for the first time (indeed, some of us might have chosen to save the car).

The car was driven by two englishmen- Richard Meredith and Phil Colley who completed a forty nine-day epic journey on 14 August 2007, after travelling through about eighteen countries, to raise awareness and much-needed funds for children’s road safety campaigns in developing countries. The car has a 510 CV engine. Maybe this car will haven't the gadgets that 007 ususally has, but for me is ok.
