Critical and hipster favorites Arcade Fire seem poised to release a new live DVD. The band has launced a new website, which can be accessed from the group’s homepage. The site features the words ‘miroir noir’, which is French for “Black Mirror”, the first track off Neon Bible. Why does everything have to be so complicated?

Se la sono presi con calma i nostri, hanno ponderato bene il passo, hanno dato fiducia al tempo che li ha ripagati con un lavoro che conferma ancora una volta il talento di questa band.Se Funeral era un lavoro per certi versi sorprendente ma che faceva capire l'enorme potenziale del gruppo, il nuovo capitolo targato Arcade Fire è decisamente meno bizzarro, più canonico, come dire, più ordinato. Many thanks to the Merge blog for this excellent find of Calexico covering Arcade Fire. It’s a live cover of “Ocean Of Noise” and sounds really great. It also shows off the horn prowess of Calexico’s Martin Wenk & Jacob Valenzuela. In the interview Butler addresses why he smashed his guitar on Saturday Night Live a couple weeks ago (it was cutting him and he hated it) and speaks about society and religion today (not to mention how much being a kid sucks).
