Rating: 2 Posted By: meLikeAdeal Views: 27 Replies: 1 This is a pretty decent Buoyancy Compensator Device (BCD) that LeisurePro has on sale for 70% off at $99. The price is unbeatable if the thing even comes close to working as described. I've purchased through LeisurePro before, and can attest to the fact that they are one of my favorite online vendors in terms of customer service and quality

May I Have A Little "Aqualung" With That Please?
What the heck is an Aqualung anyway? Aq·ua-Lung: noun a device (trade name Aqua-Lung) that lets divers breathe under water; from L. aqua "water" + lung. Developed by Jacques Cousteau and Emile Gagnan, 1943.(Provided by dictionary.com)That being said, in 1971 the word took on a whole new meaning for legions of teens and trippers. It was the title track for Jethro Tull's breakthrough album and coin

News: Jimmy Eat World, The Killers, Athlete, Aqualung, Dashboard Confessional, U2, The Shins, Amandine
Last details of the upcoming album of Jimmy Eat World! ‘Chase The Lights’ will be available in stores from 16 October and it’ll be packed with these songs: Big Casino Let It Happen Like She’ll Always Be Carry You Electable (Give It Up) Gotta Be Somebody’s Blues Feeling Lucky Here It Goes Chase This Light Firefight Dizzy On Billboard they say: “The record is quite eclectic,” Vig told Billboard.com. “There are three or four songs that sound like classic Jimmy Eat World, with angular, razor-sharp guitars. There are a couple that are a lot more dreamy, and some that are very groove-acious. Anybody who is fan will like this record.” And this is the (quite ugly :x) cover (linked from Stereogum): They are also re-recording ‘Your House’ (originally on Bleed American), and it will probably be released as a B-side. The Killers are going to release a new album (which will contain some remixes of older albums) this year and also

Jethro Tull - Aqualung Live(2005)320kbpsEach era of rock music has had its own craftily marketed phenomenon -- it was the "live album" in the '70s, "unplugged" recordings in the '90s, and since the late '80s through the present day, the "tribute album." But the early 21st century saw another addition -- veteran bands revisiting classic albums and performing them in their entirety. Jethro Tull's most enduring release is largely agreed to be 1971's classic Aqualung, and in late 2004 Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, and their latest Tull mates dusted off the album once more in front of a small audience for XM Radio's Then Again Live series. Since 23 years had passed between the original and the re-reading, the performances on Aqualung Live are slightly more restrained. And while some of Barre's mighty riffs can still be spotted blaring away -- most notably the middle bit of "My God" -- other songs get an overhauling, such as the barely recognizable "Hymn 43." In addition to revisiting t

      Aqualung - Memory Man
You may or may not remember, but some time ago, one of the first proper interviews ENS did with a real live in person artist was with Matt Hales, aka Aqualung. You can still view the interview and some great photos here. Because of how kind Matt was and also because we love his music so much, makes us big fans of him and his work. So, naturally, when the new album came out last week I went out and picked up a copy. The first single from the album, Pressure Suit, is an incredible starting point for this album, his second full length to hit the US. It shines very bright and you can tell from the sharp production that Matt’s team has brought their collective “A Game” to achieve it. The album outside of Pressure Suit is what many fans of Aqualung are hoping for, his signature keys and heartfelt penned songs. I feel constantly drawn into the softer moments of the album only to be jarred awake with a strong chorus or triumphant instrumentation. This combination of so

Jethro Tull - Aqualung(1971)320kbps Released at a time when a lot of bands were embracing pop-Christianity (a la Jesus Christ Superstar), Aqualung was a bold statement for a rock group, a pro-God anti-church tract that probably got lots of teenagers wrestling with these ideas for the first time in their lives. This was the album that made Jethro Tull a fixture on FM radio, with riff-heavy songs like "My God," "Hymn 43," "Locomotive Breath," "Cross-Eyed Mary," "Wind Up," and the title track. And from there, they became a major arena act, and a fixture at the top of the record charts for most of the 1970s. Mixing hard rock and folk melodies with Ian Anderson's dour musings on faith and religion (mostly how organized religion had restricted man's relationship with God), the record was extremely profound for a number seven chart hit, one of the most cerebral albums ever to reach millions of rock listeners. Indeed, from this point on, Anderson and company were compelled to stretch the lyr
