Regardless of how much you’ve worked on your interior decorating scheme, you’re sure to tire of it; studies show that most people become vaguely dissatisfied with their immediate surroundings on at least a semi-annual basis, while many of us experience this sensation much more frequently. But who can afford to redecorate every time the “I’m so sick of this” mood strikes? Now you can, wit

It is no coincidence that the word appreciate is used to describe being aware and grateful and also describes increased value in something. Value, if you really look at it, is nothing more than how much you appreciate something. If you really like and appreciate something, you will pay more for it. How much we are willing to spend on anything is really always decided by how much we appreciate what
Do you appreciate life?
It might be easy to reply with a quick “yes” to this question, but how much intensity did you put into your answer?

If you have heard about the Law of Attraction, you are learning to appreciate all that is entering your life as a result of practicing it. Life should be easier and you should have more abundance. Sometimes though you may actually need to start with just learning to feel appreciation before you can begin to have good things to come. This is the essence of what the Law of Attraction is about.

Well, Kola is doing well today. Yesterday I mentioned a couple of poops I found to be hers as I had them separated overnight. This morning I fed them separated and started their taste of grain back up. Kola was her usual self talking to me and getting excited about food. When I updated the vet yesterday, it was suggested that I start giving 2 tablespoons of Metamucil twice a week with her grain, so I gave her 2 tbs of unflavored Metamucil with her grain and she ate it right up and one flake of hay. A couple of hours later, I went out to check on her and she pooped in front of me. I love it when they do that so I can check it and know who it came from, etc. and this it! Yesterday's poop was still a little dry and finally this morning this is what Kola accomplished. Of course it's on top of

Tomorrow you may propose a working woman, but you should marry with these facts firmly grounded in your mind........ Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are; who is earning almost as much as you do;One, who has dreams and aspirations just as you have because she is as human as you are; One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or yourSister haven't, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system thatgives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements. One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost asmuch as you do for 20-25 years of her life; One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people wholove her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your familyname,One, who is s
‘Tis the season to give gifts. And everybody loves getting gifts. It’s also a great way to promote your personal brand: I don’t mean giving gifts with your logo on it (though, done with class, is not such a bad idea). Rather, your personal brand relationship with that other person.
Having said that, gifts and cards should be personal. At the very least, personalized. Obviously I love the wonders of technology and mass-customization, but still, micro-customization - our handwriting - is still a great personal touch. With a tablet or other e-writing pad, you can also digitize your signature (like my book). More importantly, a personal note makes the greeting card extra special for each of us.
We shouldn’t feel obligated to give cards and gifts. We should feel honored that we can share our love & appreciation.
But be sure that the amount of gifts and its costs are within your professional compliance and ethics regulations. Obviously we’re

1. One must keep in mind that a basic understanding— that pictorial representation of a figure, object or person need not be the only criteria for a beautiful work of art. In other words, the exact copying of an object or person need not be the essential evidence for a perfect masterpiece.2. Remember that your child has no intention of creatinga picture in the same sense as you, an adult. Keep V in mind too, that he is drawing or painting as a natural self expression because to him it is primarily FUN.3. Try to remember that a child maintains his particular style or characteristics throughout his work. For example, he may base most of his drawings with a peculiar circle shape that is inscribed with a dot or a dash, even a cross. This may appear again in a flower, a button, a handle or as a basic design. This is the development of STYLE. Thus it is equally important to save your child's drawings and to review them from time to time. Keep a scrap book of his work.4. Draw or pain

During the ninth month of the Muslim calender, falling between mid September to mid October, Ramadan is a time where Muslim followers around the world abstain from all food and drink (including water) each day while the sun is up, for an entire month.
As I understand, Ramadan is about focusing less on the daily rigors of everyday life, and more on what matters the most: God.
It is about the realization that we are all on this planet together, with some more fortunate than others. The aim of Ramadan is to experience suffering, like so many people are forced to live through, and to understand that we are no better than anyone else. All of us are same in God’s eyes.
While in Shenzen, China, I fasted with the some Muslim friends for one full day, but the idea stayed with me longer than the 24 hours. It was something I wanted to do again in the future, when the time was right.
As it turns out, being stuck in the middle of Hanoi, Vietnam with just a few dollars in your pocket is just su

Jason Taylor had made these comments about Trent Green in a recent SI interview, where he said that Green could become scrambled eggs if he got hit again on the field. Well, Trent didn't mind it that much, but his wife was pretty miffed though. She was more upset than I was," Green said of his wife, Julie, "so I told her, over the course of an interview that could go a few hours, things are pieced together, you get caught up in the emotion or your adrenaline gets going and you're talking about a topic ... I defended Jason a little bit because this was done before I was traded, so maybe he felt compelled to defend Daunte [Culpepper] or the situation the Dolphins were in, so a lot of different scenarios play into it.Green also said that Taylor had called him before the interview was released, just to let him know where it was coming from and that things can get changed around a little in articles like that.I'm happy that the comments didn't cause a problem between the two men, because
Jordan at MamaBlogga is hosting another group writing project this week and the writing prompt is "Three Things I Want My Kids to . . . " Now I'm not normally this introspective and solemn but here's my stab at the topic.***My parents left last week. They've moved to the other side of the planet for the next three years and I'm missing Mom already. Though she has lived within walking distance we've talked on the phone nearly every day and if something good or bad is happening one of the first things I do is call Mom.So I've been thinking plenty about parenting and motherhood and what it takes to do the job well. It means so much more than just keeping the children warm and dry and fed, it's about teaching values, morality, ethics and how to pick up dirty socks and put them in the clothes hamper. As I've thought about the task before me I've realized I've focused on three things I want my kids to learn to appreciate: three things that if I can teach them to value that their

While I’m not ringing any Valentine bells myself, we are making a minor to-do up at Thomas Fogarty Winery this weekend. So if you’re in the Bay Area, driving about in the rain and wanting a place to stay dry–come on up to Skyline Boulevard. We’ll be pouring our Port, Late HArvest Gewurztraminer, and sparkling wine. We’ll also have fruit, cheese (including some made courtesy of the Harley Farms goats), and chocolate. Sunday the Redwood Room will be available for indoor picnics.
It’ll be cold and foggy, but the wine will warm you up. And the view will be amazing….if you can see it.
Details: open 11-5, and use these directions NOT Mapquest (unless you like driving up narrow, scary roads.

If you remember, a few weeks ago I posted that I moved my office down a few doors in the strip mall that houses In Touch Media Group in order to have some peace and quiet as well as do my duties as CEO unencumbered. It seemed that having a door directly to the street was not going to be an issue. We put up a sign that said employees only; no solicitation; please see reception in suite 205. It’s not that I am anti-social or don’t like people, but I do have a job to do.Did people listen? No, even though that very nice sign was up on the door, on eight separate times, a downtrodden individual walked in and accosted me in one shape or another. On one occasion, this rather odorous fellow walked in while I was on the phone. I asked the caller to hold for a moment (by the way, I was speaking to an investment banker about a huge sum of money for the company) and I asked this individual Yes?...and he said, “Oh, I’ll wait.” (Like I want a guy like this listening to my call with a banker
