      No Applause For Me!
Well, let's see. I got 24 articles done which isn't bad considering that I had a kid's Christmas party to attend, and then after coming home I fell into a dead sleep. That means I was sleeping at 6:05 PM. Do you know what that also means? I woke up at midnight wide awake. Yep - and I have been up ever since. My son did well for himself though, he got his own pajamas on and went to bed. I have no idea what time, or if he ate anything besides what he could reach, but I know he didn't burn down the house or break anything :) I had no intention of sleeping, I was "just resting my eyes." Yeah right! Now, I'm exhausted again and I have to start more writing. I didn't get the Christmas cards, or the address. I didn't shop, I didn't buy shoes for Matthew, and I didn't plan the party. Although thankfully my friend Millie agreed to co-host so that takes a lot of pressure off, and we postponed it till next weekend! WOOOHOOO!! So, technically I can take that off of my list. So, officially

      NEYO IS RASING EX-GIRLFRIEND SEED...APPLAUSE..!!!
Ne-Yo has admitted his love for children and reveals his son Chimere, around 2 years old, is not biologically his child. Determined for Chimere to have a father in his life, the R&B star volunteered to raise ex-girlfriend Jessica White's son as his own after Chimere's biological father split.. Now the thing is, I think in this day and age, everybody knows that blood does not make a father. He's known no other father but me since the day he was born, and though I did not make him, I am his father and he is my son, and that's what it is." *********************************************************************************** Here are a few pictures of his ex-girl Jessica White and her/their son Chimere. *********************************************************************** HOUSE OF GLTIZ: HOLD YOUR APPLAUSE WHEN NEYO STEPPED ON THE SCENE 2 YEARS AGO THIS GIRL WAS PREGNANT AND HE THEN STATED HE WAS THE BABY DADDY..FAST FORWARD A COUPLE OF HUNDRED THOUSAND LATER AND HE IS JUST A FO

      Hold The Applause
Even Leftists Acknowledge Disruptive ConductIn High School GraduationsThis subject has again been addressed on this blog at the request of the Mrs. against my better judgement, together with many others for those that cannot comprehend why some would refuse to accept the concept that individuals do have some responsibility for the conduct of their guests they have invited to events. This snippet appeared yesterday in the Des Moines Sunday Register - hardly a conservative newspaper...Hold the applause...A thistle to friends and relatives of graduates who create a ruckus when their favored grad's name is called. Despite pleas to hold the noise out of respect for others, cat-calls, whistles, cheers and even air horns erupt in gyms across Iowa.In Galesburg, Ill., diplomas were temporarily denied to graduates who brought their own cheering sections. That might be going too far, but it's easy to understand school officials' frustration.Read Article... Graduation Des Moines High School

      The Political Theatre Presents...... Applause!
Politics and the drama surrounding politics are always interesting. And moments for applause are sometimes continuous. I have watched all the debates and when asked who won, I had to stop and think real hard; and only because there were no real knock-outs. Clearly there were moments when the candidates gave coherence and meaning to an idea/point-of-view, but for us spectators, and I for one in particular, yearned for that compelling moment which would quiet the noise of the lesser among them. On recall ,who were winners? While I cannot anoint anyone, from my perch I recall no gaffes, neither was anyone elbowed out of the game. Real differences-- no! Few among either the Dems or Republicans. Of course there were strident voices--Senator Clinton emphasizes " This is Bush's war". Senator Obama tries to knock the breath out of Edwards' argument on the war--that he was four and half years late in opposing it. Former governor, Mike Huckabee, scored for the GOP declaring his faith "God crea

      With Thunderous Applause
If I'm reading this correctly, and I'd like to think that I am, then it appears that the man who was chiefly responsible for providing these momentswhile these moments were happening at the same timeis now the sole person in charge of the entire government in the event of an emergency. That's right: Congress and the Supreme Court (Hey, didn't SCOTUS give him his job to begin with? There's gratitude for ya.) don't apply in an emergency anymore. Whatever the president decides becomes the law.Hmm, that sounds familiar ...Modern dictators have usually come to power in times of emergency. Frequently they have seized power by coup, but some, most notably Benito Mussolini in Italy and Adolf Hitler in Germany achieved office as head of government by legal means (election or appointment), and once in office gained additional extraordinary powers. Mainly Latin American, Asian and African nations, especially Third World, have known many dictatorships, usually by military leaders at the
