      I For One Am Appalled!
So while I'm out and about in NYC, I pass a gentleman who hands me a flyer, obviously this happens to me about 20 times a day, but what caught my attention was what was on the front of said flyer. It was advertising a S-A-L-E at none other than the Louis Vuitton store in Brooklyn! What???? My mind starts racing, but I play it cool, because of course he's just a guy handing out flyers, he can't

      I was appalled
Two nights ago, I was disgusted when I saw what was on Soulcast’s Home page. Not on the first page but on the home page, still the same. I was wondering weather I wanted to post here anymore. Next day I saw Polars post SoulCast I am talking to you.   I saw many comments and I was really surprised at the way some people seem to think. I thought most people, yes the majority of people condemned the abuse of children and I thought most of us did not want any paedophiles on Soulcast.  I thought this was the issue but many people seemed to think differently.   I thought all that suggested hurting children would not be welcome here. Someone talked about freedom of expression.   There certainly is a freedom of expression but there is also something called morals and

Drunken Sailors appalled at Napolitano’s State of the State Speech
In her 6th State of the State Speech, Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano looked past Arizona’s looming billion dollar budget and focused on the future of the growing state. The Governor outlined five major areas including: education, economic development, public safety, transportation, and healthcare to focus on the future. The speech was met with some harsh criticism, some of the loudest coming from several drunken sailors who happened to catch the speech while in town on shore leave.“I’ve done me some crazy spending in my day,” slurred Pete Shuttlesworth, a grizzled sailor from a ship known as The Flying Carp, “And I can tell ye this. Her plans be too much in the face of such a large debt. This coming from a man who spent 50 gold pieces on this here tattoo.”Napolitano proposed

Birth control? For middle-schoolers? No, I mean for children? Seriously...I couldn't believe it either. Read about it here.So maybe they won't be getting pregnant, but will the government be paying for heath care from the diseases or the therapy from the emotional scars?I tell Mara all of the time, "Who's the mommy?", when she's trying to 'rule' her little sisters. Someone needs to tell the state of Maine, "Who's the mommy?" I'm praying that the parents in Maine take a stand and take back the God-given authority in their children's lives and in their homes.

      I'm appalled
I looked at the ICV2 sales chart for last month, and I see that Captain America #25 sold at least 290,000 copies. I will make clear, that issue did not deserve an audience, yet readers bought into the publicity and went for it anyway. In fact, nothing written by Brian Bendis deserves an audience either. That he may dislike some of the characters in the Avengers like Hawkeye, for example, indicates a serious problem with some of today's writers, that they allow their personal dislike of a character to get out of hand, and do bad things to them. (But also wrong is when the editors allow them to go too far with them.) So it's not only the problem with "hot" writers that needs to be dealt with, but also the problem with writers who let their personal biases dictate what they do with someone else's favorite characters.

      Edwards: Jesus Would Be ‘Appalled’
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards says Jesus would be appalled at how the United States has ignored the plight of the suffering, and that he believes children should have private time to pray at school.Edwards, in an interview with the Web site Beliefnet.com, said Jesus would be most upset with the selfishness of Americans and the country’s willingness to go to war “when it’s not necessary.” “I think that Jesus would be disappointed in our ignoring the plight of those around us who are suffering and our focus on our own selfish short-term needs,” Edwards told the site. “I think he would be appalled, actually.” Edwards also said he was against teacher-led prayers in public schools, but he added that “allowing time for children to pray for themselves, to themselves, I think is not only OK, I think it’s a good thing.” Source Jesus would be WHAT? How DARE John Edwards presume to tell

John Edwards Says Jesus Would be “Appalled”
John Edwards, Democratic presidential candidate and recent target of Ann Coulter, said that Jesus would be appalled at how the United States is ignoring those who are suffering, and Edwards also believes that children should have time to pray in schools. Edwards, in an interview with Beliefnet.com, said “I think that Jesus would be disappointed in our ignoring the plight of those around us who are suffering and our focus on our own selfish short-term needs,” and that “I think he would be appalled, actually.” John Edwards also said that he thinks Jesus would be upset with the United States’ willingness to go to a war that he thinks is not necessary.  However, Edwards has cited religion before as part of his political stance and believes that it is a good thing. On the issue of prayer in school, however, Edwards doesn’t believe in teacher led prayer, but that “allowing time for children to pray for themselves, to themselves, I think is not only
