Anton Bruckner(1824-1896)Compositor y organista austríaco, nació en Ansfelden, en 1824.Fué nombrado organista de la Capilla Imperial de Viena en 1868. Luego ejerció el profesorado en el Conservatorio y, en 1875, actuó como conferencista sobre música en la Universidad.De sus composiciones, entre las obras religiosas, son muy conocidas sus dos misas y un Te Deum.Escribió nueve sinfonías en las que puede descubrirse una influencia wagneriana.
