Book Release Challenge

World Breastfeeding Week is officially the first week in August but My Baby and More we will be celebrating all month!
We are honored to be hosting the 2nd Annual World Breastfeeding Week Book Release Challenge from August 1-31, 2007. Last year more than 150 books were “released into the wild” from all over the world; including the USA, Holland, Portugal and more. This year our goal is to more than double that number.
All releases must be about breastfeeding, such as breastfeeding ‘how to’ books (i.e. “The Nursing Mother’s Companion”) or breastfeeding advocacy books (i.e. “Milk, Money and Madness”.)
Books can also be children’s books that show pictures of breastfeeding or depict breastfeeding as a normal part of family life (i.e. “Near Mama’s Heart” or “Mama, Mama”.)
Books should be released in places where pregnant or new mothers are likely to catch
IGFA will be holding the Fourth Annual World Record Achievement Awards (WRAA) dinner at its headquarters in Dania Beach, Florida on Saturday, April 28, 2007. Cocktails begin at 6:00 pm with dinner and awards program at 7:30 pm. Compiled from the 2007 World Record Game Fishes book Top 10 list, WRAA will recognize anglers that have achieved the most records in freshwater, saltwater, fly rod and junior categories. Additional awards will be given to captains, as well as to line, lure, rod and reel manufacturers.
