      GRE Analytical Section!!
Sorry everybody for being so pressing with the AWA section!!! I just wanted to make sure that whatever I present here exactly mirrors the reality. I recently realised that I was completely ignorant all this time. I never knew of an e-rater being used for the evaluation (I used to think e-rater was a part of GMAT essay evaluation process) However, it seems that as far as GRE goes, your essays will be graded by both e-rater and a human grader. For those who don't exactly know of the e-rater concept, it is a computer program, designed to evaluate your writing according to the pre-programmed criteria. If the computer and human grader differ greatly in their assessments, a second human is brought into the mix to referee and make the final call. The final step is to average all four scores (two for each essay and round the result to the nearest half point. This becomes the AWA score included on the score report sent to the programs you applied for. That means the admissions office or/and pr

Analytical essay for Night of Freedom (by Cyprian Ekwensi) (Language and stylistic features used in the story)
In my opinion, Ekwensi can begin his story effectively raising his story with the Independence celebration of the Nigerians. His language is easy to understand.  Allusion from historical movement plays a great role in his work. He refers to the European Imperialism and its results here after. Besides, many of sentences in the story can describe well the feelings and atmospheres of the characters and the situations. The uses of blank verse and cadence can create the sense of conflict in Chini’s mind, we can see in “Now my country is free, but I … I am in chains” or “…. Independence. Francois. Love. Marriage. Independence. Independence.  Freedom!……” or “… I don’t love this man… I love him

Analytical essay for Night of Freedom (by Cyprian Ekwensi) (Theme and content)
Nigeria we hail thee Our own dear native land Through tribe and tongue may differ In brotherhood we stand Nigerians all and proud to serve Our sovereign motherland   In the first place, it is to say that this story is not just a romance story but it also shows a conflict in mind of a Nigerian woman about her love to Francois who is her boyfriend, and her love to her country, which is just becoming of freedom. To add this, we can say that the theme of this story is a combination of themes of love concept, freedom, and feminism. To describe this, it seems that Ekwensi tried to tell us about the different concepts of love of the Africans, represented by Chini and of the Europeans, represented by Francois. For Chini, after Nigeria got freedom from Imperialism, it seemed to her that more l

Analytical essay for Night of Freedom (by Cyprian Ekwensi) [Setting (Place and time)]
From Night of Freedom, some parts of Ekwensi’s life are hidden in the story. First of all, it is to talk about the story’s setting. The present setting of this short story is in the capital city of Nigeria, Nigeria, which is Ekwensi’s country. The first scene is at the Federation Square, at one night, where people crowded to celebrate for their Freedom, after being of Imperialism of the Europeans for hundred years. This scene shows the power of the European colonization through the glow firework displaying as the image of the coronet of Queen Elizabeth the Second. This setting also is the beginning for us to know that Chini was thinking about the freedom of her country and the freedom of herself. She loved with

Analytical essay for Night of Freedom (by Cyprian Ekwensi)- Background of Cyprian Ekwensi
Night of Freedom is one of fictions, which were reflected by Cyprian’s background in the time where Africa becomes independent from the Imperialism of the Europeans. Cyprian is one of Nigerian authors, who took a great role with other authors as a group of people acting as the reflection of the time being. Cyprian Ekwensi is important in Nigerian writing for many reasons. He was such a strong supporter of the process that brought about the creation of Association of Nigerian Authors or ANA. He is not only one of the most prolific African writers of the twentieth century but also a man who has had several different professional careers besides that of writer. He was born in 1921 in Northern Nigeria, but attended secondary school in Ibadan, in an area of the country that is predominantly Y

Regional population monitoring of the marbled murrelet: field and analytical methods
The marbled murrelet (Brachyramphus marmoratus) ranges from Alaska to California and is listed under the Endangered Species Act as a threatened species in Washington, Oregon, and California. Marbled murrelet recovery depends, in large part, on conservation and restoration of breeding habitat on federally managed lands. A major objective of the Northwest Forest Plan (the Plan) is to conserve and restore nesting habitat that will sustain a viable marbled murrelet population. Under the Plan, monitoring is an essential component and is designed to help managers understand the degree to which the Plan is meeting this objective. This report describes methods used to assess the status and trend of marbled murrelet populations under the Plan.

Web 3.0 analytical stats package rocks!
Some times back, there was a video clip on John Chow.com showing us the porn’s rate on the web around the world. Check it out below(mind you, a bit not safe for work): Then some days back, I found the following clip on Property Investment’s blog showing some Property facts : So I was asking myself, would that be a great kind of stats service for us bloggers? For e.g you log into your stats account and you’re shown your daily hits and amounts of visitors on a sexy lady’s body. LOL, I kind of starting laughing to myself. Just think of that? I’m sure that would be the most rocking web 3.0 service which would ever exist. But nonetheless I gave the Property Investment’s blog a look and found interesting things hanging around there. The blog’s main subject is to detail you things you should be knowing to become your own house’s owner providing you too with various Property Statistics of the current state of household(UK). So you might b
