BLV859 UHF Linear Push Pull Power Amplifier
A broadband linear amplifier design is presented, suitable for application in TV transposers operating in band IV and V (470 to 860 MHz). The design is based on two BLV859 bipolar transistorscombined with quadrature hybrids. Typical results at the recommended class-A bias point (25.5 V/9.1 A) for the total module include 40 W peak sync output power at -54 dB three tone IMD level (fvision = -8 dB, fsound = -10 dB, fsideband = -16 dB) and an average gain of 10.5 dB in the (470 to 860) MHz range. The BLV859 is a bipolar linear push-pull power transistor designed to operate in the 460 to 860 MHz range. With a specified output power of 20 W peak-sync in class-A it is the largest device in the new generation of transposer transistors. The intermodulation distortion level is < -54 dB (fvision = -8

How does a CE mode single stage transistor used as an amplifier ?
The answer lies in the fact that the transistor used in the single-stage CE amplifier is *biased*; that is, DC levels are established (using resistors) so that the base-emitter junction is always forward biased and the collector-base junction is always reverse biased. The AC signal is then capacitively coupled into the base. This causes a large AC current to flow from the collector to the emitter in accordance with basic bipolar transistor theory and the output is taken from the collector. The AC gain is given by the formula Av = KRc ; where K is a constant (easily determined) and Rc is the value of the collector resistor.

      22 Watt Audio Amplifier
The 22 watt audio amplifier is an easy to build project, very inexpensive. The circuit can be used to boost the signal from a car audio system, home speaker system or as an amplifier for computer speakers. These are just a few practical applications, but it can be adapted to your personal needs. The circuit is compact and uses only about 55 watts; it dissipates roughly 28 watts of heat, so a heatsink is necessary. It operates at 12 Volts at about 5 Amps at full volume. Lower volumes use less current, and therefore produce less heat. The chip should run cool enough to touch with the proper heatsink installed. The parts can be found at any electronics store, making it a great DIY project for beginners. 4×34W car audio amplifier based on TDA7384
This is circuit power amplifier for car. use IC TDA7384. Output power 34Wx4 at speaker 4OHM. read intro detail: So this time I decided to make pretty simple but powerful enough audio amplifier. For this I’ve chosen quad bridge car audio amplifier TDA7384 which has four input and four output channels with power capability 4×35W. If connect to car battery where operating voltage is about 13.2V, then each channel can give 22W(4Ω) – what is more than enough for me. This amplifier I probably will use to test audio processor TDA7313 which is stil in development phase. I didn’t find much information about this chip on the internet so I decided to built it and try on my own. As datasheets of TDA7384 says it is low distortion, low output noise, low external component count. Also has Stand-By function and Mute function. It has several protections like from output short circuit to GND or to Vs, capable to handle very inductive loads, thermal limiter, load dump voltage. TDA7384 i

RF Power Amplifier 1.3W to 6W by 2SC1970
This amplifier is based on the transistor 2SC1970 and 2N4427. The output power is about 1.3W and the input driving power is 30-50mW. You can use other transistor as 2SC1971 and get much more output power. 1.3W will still get your RF signal quit far and I advice you to use a good 50 ohm resistor as dummy load. Make sure it can take up to 5-10W, else it will be a hot resistor. You MUST use an antenna or 50 ohm dummy resistor while testing else you burn up the transistor. In all RF system and specially in RF amplifiers, it is very important to have a stable power supply and making sure you won’t get any RF out on the power line. The Capacitor C12 and C13 will stabilise the DC power supply. L1, C10, C11 and L3 with C8, C9 will also prevent RF from leaking out to the powerline and cause oscillation or disturbances. L1 and L3 should be ferrite chokes or inductance’s about 1 to 10 uH. Transistor Q1 will act as a buffer amplifier, because I don’t want to load the

Crate ships USB-equipped Profiler 5 mini guitar amplifier
While a USB keyboard may do the ivory-ticklers in the crowd some good, Crate is looking out for the six-string warriors by shipping its USB-equipped Profiler 5 mini amplifier. This five-watt combo guitar amp measures in at less than eight-inches tall and weighs just six-pounds, and aside from giving users the option of powering it via an AC adapter or six AA cells, there's also an auxiliary input for rocking along with your DAP. More important, however, is the rear-mounted USB port (shown after the jump), which enables guitarists to easily record their shredding without any external breakout boxes. So if you think you can give the twin four-inch speakers in Crate's latest all they can handle, the Profiler 5 is available now for $159.99.Continue reading Crate ships USB-equipped Profiler 5 mini guitar amplifier(Via Engadget.)

      The Universal Mosfet Amplifier
The picture above shows a circuit board layout giving every option that the MOSFET amplifier will use. This board could be built very easily using “Manhattan Construction” or “dead bug” style construction. I have also built it on mass produced prototype boards from Tanner Electronics. Radio Shack and others have similar prototype boards that can be used. Lay out the parts exactly like they are in the circuit diagram. Build 13 of these and this receiver is almost built. Just add the oscillators (BFO, VFO, and 4MHz), the product detector, the AGC circuit, the audio amplifier, the three filters (TV & FM, Bandpass & crystal), and you are done. These circuits are just as easy or easier to build than the MOSFET circuit. I have built the MOSFETs “dead bug” style on 2″ by 2″ copper squares with an assembly line like procedure, and finished all 13 in one evening. Trying to put them on a 1″ by 1″ copper square “

      AGC Amplifier by mosfet
This amplifier does not have AGC applied. Two 100K resistors are used to set the gate 2 bias at approximately six volts, bypassed with a .01 decoupling capacitor. This amplifier may have a tendency to oscillate, if so, detune the 455 kHz IF can or add a resistor of 2.2K to 12K across the primary of the coil (between the drain and B+). A 12K resistor is shown in the schematic. Adjust S-meter responsiveness by tuning the output coil. The LEDs in the IF strip will show the AGC action. Since the LEDs are in the drain circuit of the MOSFETs, changes in the drain current will show in the brightness of the LEDs. For more gain from the IF strip to the Product Detector, take the 100K resistors off Gate 2, and connect the AGC line to Gate 2. Leave the .01 bypass cap on Gate 2. Move the connection to the product detector from the Second amplifier to the output of this one. The output to the AGC circuit will be as shown in the schematic, without a coupling capacitor. Add a .01 cap at th
