I was just reading on the F.A.T. Chance website about the judges and was surprised to discover that Velvet D’Amour would be one of the judges. I started thinking about it and it came to me that she is the perfect choice as a judge and here is why I think that way.
She lives in Paris. This was a no brainer.
She can relate to what the ladies that are non-models are going through.
As a photographer she will be able to spot the woman that has the best camera appeal.
She is actually a plus size model. See reason number one.
High fashion experience will allow her to be able to spot the lady with the most potential.
Her presence gives validity to the entire show.
Overall I think that it was a brilliant move by the producers of the show to include her. As time grows closer to the premiere there is more reason to celebrate plus size hips and curves. What do you think what are some other advantages to having Velvet on the show.

Nokia 7088 Brings the L'Amour Collection to CDMA
Nokia has taken its L'Amour collection a step further today with the release of the first CDMA model in the range, the 7088. Nokia hopes the 7088 will bring a new element of style to the CDMA market, though it does have a fair bit of competition on that front.
The focus for the Nokia 7088 is design, and its ‘jewel-like' select key and sculpted d-pad with a metallic frame set it off perfectly. The handset is covered in a leather-like material to enhance the tactile experience when using the device. The Nokia 7088 has an integrated camera with LED flash and a 128x160 pixel display, as well as speakerphone functionality, a voice recorder, and calendar application.
Nokia expects the 7088 to be available in selected markets in Asia/Pacific, Middle East, Africa, China, and Latin America during the 2nd quarter of 2007.

I'm not sure what to think when Woodward makes comments such as this one: [L'Amour's Hondo] came and went from “Vehige's Bookshelf” awfully quickly, which means either that Vehige reads faster than I thought, or that he got tired of it and gave up. Since I myself tried unsuccessfully to get through a couple of Louis L'Amours, I'm hoping it's the latter.Is he implying that Louis L'Amour is such a bad writer that if I were to successfully read one of his novels that fact alone would somehow alter his image of me for the worse? Or does he have such a high regard for my own aesthetic sensibilities that, if I had successfully read Hondo, he would feel that his own inability to read a L'Amour novel revealed a moral or intellectual deficiency within his own soul? I'll leave it for Woodward to supply the answer.At any rate, I have some good news for your, Woodward, and some bad news.The good news: I was unable to read Hondo. It started off just fine.
