      The PEOPLE have spoken!The AmeriPlan® Persistency Program will be discarded in June of 2007This will be GREAT news for more than just a few IBO's (Independent Business Owners) with AmeriPlan®, that were unhappy with the installation of this rule of measure.Persistency is used in the Insurance industry to measure retention. Example: If you sign up 100 policies in a year and the next year you only have 30 of those customers on the books, then your persistency percentage is 30% and your attrition (loss) is 70%.Now, although AmeriPlan® is NOT insurance, they decided nonetheless, last year, to implement a Persistency program that would, in their view, help IBO's that were writing good buiness and prevent those few others from writing bad business, for the sake of slapping something on the books and getting their initial commission.
