      Promenade in Altea
Altea's promenade is very pretty as it used to primarily be a fishing village with it's whitewashed houses along the seafront. Now the promenade is full of lively bars and restaurants. Altea is one of the best places to visit on the Costa Blanca. The town is set on a hill full of winding streets and topped with the beautiful church with it's blue tiled roof visible from all around. I will post a picture of the church later on. Greetings from sunny Spain! Tom

View to Altea || Sicht auf Altea
Yesterday we did a walk to a lighthouse in Altea/Spain. It usually takes about half an hour from the lot to the lighthouse but we were very busy taking lots of pictures and so it took some hours until we got back to the car :-) Gestern machten wir einen Spaziergang zu einem Leuchtturm in Altea/Spanien. Normalerweise braucht man eine halbe Stunde vom Parkplatz bis zum Leuchtturm. Wir machten viele Bilder auf dem Weg, wodurch der Ausflug gleich ein paar Stunden dauerte :-) ------------ Greetings from Spain!

On the other hand, the 2.0 TDI reaches a top speed of 204 km/h, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds and consumes an average of 6.8 litres for every 100 km of driving. Geneva: SEAT Altea Freetrack Concept
We're fans of the SEAT Altea, though the smallish five-door hatch back isn't sold in the U.S. It's got great packaging, a unique though not ugly design, and there's even an FR model sporting corporate parent Volkswagen's venerable 2.0T FSI engine and a DSG transmission. SEAT is planning to stretch the Altea's scope a bit further when it releases an SUV version of the on-road MPV in the near future. The SEAT Altea Freetrack Concept you see here is a thinly veiled preview of SEAT's first production SUV. Frankly, the Altea Freetrack Concept looks great lifted on its beefier suspension and larger wheels. It's got all the normal cute ute styling cues we'd expect like fender flares, a fuax skid plate beneath the front bumper and a full-size spare mounted on the rear hatch, but it doesn't look anything like SUVs we're used to thanks to its extreme cab-forward stance and virtual absence of front and rear overhang. Plus, it's motivated by an even more powerful version of the 2.0T FS
