"I like his overall game, everything about it," Iverson said. "His team has the best record, so I'd give (the MVP) to him. He can handle the ball. He can shoot it. He can finish. He has the ball in his hands pretty much 99 percent of the time, every possession. He's starting the offense, so it's tough to deal with."A friend of mine, who is a big fan of Chris Paul, sent me a link. It was an excerpt

The weather in Denver finally calmed enough to allow Allen Iverson to finally make his Denver Nuggets debut. Iverson was welcomed by an arena full of cheers.Though Iverson didn't start the game, he managed to accomplish 22-points and 10-assists in 39-minutes. However, the Nuggets lost to the Sacramento Kings, 101-96.Before the game, Iverson was suffering from jet lag and car sickness."I'm glad it's over," Iverson said. "That's the only thing I thought about, just getting the first one by me. I wish it could've ended with a win. I felt it could've ended with a win."There's no questioning the way he played last night. Not only did he play good, he looked happy. But what happens when Carmello Anthony returns from his suspension? Are we in for another Shaq-Kobe type feud? For the article on the game last night, click here. For the box score, click here.
Allen Iverson was thrown out of the game on Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. Now, the NBA has decided to fine him $25,000 for his comments against referee Steve Javie.According to Iverson, there has been something personal going on between the two since Iverson entered the league."I thought I got fouled on that play, and I said I thought that he was calling the game personal, and he threw me out," Iverson told reporters. "His fuse is real short anyway, and I should have known that I couldn't say anything anyway. It's been something personal with me and him since I got in the league. This was just the perfect game for him to try and make me look bad."This situation adds to the list of examples why NBA referees have too much power in the league. When is the NBA going to start looking into the accusations instead of consistently penalizing players for possibly speaking the truth? Then again, when will they call traveling again? That's a whole other issue! For the AP news alert
I saved this for whine day because that's what Allen Iverson is doing.
The Philadelphia Seventy-Sixers are not winning, and Iverson, the prima donna and thug that he is, wants out - despite his contract to play for the Sixers. That is apparently what you do when you are making millions of dollars a year and things aren't going right.
But here's the best part...the Sixers have told Iverson not to
