Il servizio di posta di GMail consente di creare degli alias del proprio indirizzo email, come? Semplice se user è il tuo username e quindi il tuo indirizzo di posta è user@gmail.com basta aggiungere il carattere + seguito dalla parola X che si vuole (anche solo un altro carattere) user+X@gmail.com; così per avere un alias ad esempio da destinare alla posta non sicura bastera utilizzare l'indirizzo: user+spam@gmail.com. In questo modo è possibile creare un numero infinito di indirizzi in un unica casella di posta, e con degli appositi filtri è possibile taggare le email in arrivo semplicemente selezionando l'alias (+X) nel campo destinatario, in modo da poter taggare, o identificare come spam.Lo sapevi che GMail ignora i punti all'interno dei nomi utente?Questo è un altro modo molto semplice per creare un alias, infatti per GMail u.s.er@gmail.com e user@gmail.com sono lo stesso indirizzo!
