Alrighty then......Janet Jackson made a daring arrival in a fuchsia and pink silk degradé kimono gown by Alexander McQueen as she attended the British designer’s Los Angeles flagship store launch party last night.
This looks more like a costume for one of her upcoming videos instead of a red carpet dress but maybe it's just ME!
Cashmere Mafia starlet Lucy Lui was looked fierce in her hot pink Alexander McQueen drape front dress. She made the outfit her own with the opera length gloves, white coat and gold bag. Although I like the look, I think it's a bit much. You can make a statement in this gown without confusing the look. Her ensemble has too much going on; however, when the coat and bag come off, the look is fierce.
Alexander McQueen's Spring collection was a tribute to the late Isabella Blow, the woman who discovered him, famously propelled his career from a student rack to a couture house, and faithfully wore...

I am sure he is going to be having a Monday funday he will never forget. So from all of us at The Glamazon Diaries, I would like to wish Mr. McQueen a big happy 39 birthday. I am certain the big 4-0 next year will be amazing.
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise attended the First Annual Essence Black Women on February 21st. Katie wore this dress by Alexander McQueen without the belt. I would have worn this dress with a belt. It just looks better with it.

ChicAlexander McQueen, a fashion prodigy at 16, has revamped his collection better than ever this year. McQueen 2008 looks like he has been going to cafes with Rei Kawakubo, designer for commes des garcons, and gotten some hints with the polka dot theme. However, polka dots are not the only highlight, the real highlight from the show is the awesome yellow cardigan styled with the board-short like print look. Through this collection, McQueen emphasizes the importance of fun, flare, and uniqueness in your "day to day wear". His motif is italicized with the "badass" looking models who seem to have been pumped with confidence steroids.*original photos taken by Marcio Madeira Customer Service

This polo shirt is nice! I like the red colour (makes a change), the design (that I can't quite find words for), and in particular the use of the braces. Now, obviously these ones, with the single strap at the back and the buttons, are quite unusual , but you can always draw inspiration from...
This seemingly simple short sleeve shirt ($243 USD) has all the sass and style that normally comes with an Alexander McQueen top except for nearly half the price. We are really excited to see his presentation for Fall 2007, but right now we will settle for his secondary line aptly called McQ.
Alexander McQueen has designed a fabulous collection for Samsonite. The new collection called "Black Label" will launch in February of 2007... can't wait!As you can see from the picture, wow, these are some amazing pieces of luggage. The airport is soon going to start looking like a catwalk!
It's telling that when Alexander McQueen conceded an interest in superheroes for his new collection, the first creature that sprung to his mind was a warlock. Let's face it—he's always found the dark side a much more inspiring proposition than its sweetness 'n' light alternative, and for that we can all be heartily grateful, especially when it yields a collection as startling and individual as this. In purely technical terms, McQueen mastered a striking repertoire of effects, such as the silvery glaze on a gray flannel suit, the plastic coating on a Prince of Wales check, or the taffeta-and-felt bonding that turned scuba neoprene into the stuff of jackets and pea coats. Only McQueen could make a conceptual point of the interplay between the most luxurious natural fibers and the most Hazmat-toned synthetics (orange nylon was a particular standout). But that is hardly why McQueen's work continues to enthrall, even as his creativity ebbs and flows. He's the most cinematic
"Although some would call his designs outrageous, London-born designer Alexander McQueen has garnered attention for many years due to his ability to create clothing that is original and innovative."

The opinion remains. ...
