We assume that this curious, playful steam iron inspired iPod speaker Radio alarm clock is aimed at younger children – not withstanding the fact that one of the product images shows a model ironing her hand for some reason (though perhaps this merely indicates that this somewhat tacky device is aimed squarely at idiots with especially wrinkle-free palms).
Whilst not quite having the distinction of being the largest clock we’ve featured here on TFTS – that accolade, as far as digital clocks are concerned, is very much retained by this rather retro looking LCD clock – this blue LED alarm clock is by no means proportionally understated, measuring in at 376mm (14.8”) in width which, along with the bight blue LED display, means that this somewhat geeky time telling device is sure not to go unnoticed in anything but the largest of rooms.
This is simple, and the pictures tell you enough. Denkimono.com offers you the possibility to buy a kit of this alarmclock/timer that you can assembly yourself. It is available in 2 modes as a kit or ready assembled. The kit comprises of a PCB and all the necessary components.

We have entered that glorious time with our baby ‘Usurper’ where you don’t need an alarm clock to wake you because the minute the sun is up it is a signal to her to great the day as well. This isn’t so bad in winter, but as we in the antipodes enter into summer and the sun shows itself at around 5:30am it is a bit of a pain in the ass.
Oh well, I guess it is really only about half an hours sleep that I am missing out on.
So the alarm clock is now rendered useless and just sits there neglected having been set the night before ‘just in case’ it never gets to fulfill it’s purpose in life and actually go off. It must be getting fairly frustrating for that piece of technology constantly suffering from alarmus interruptus or something like that.
Now the early morning awakenings are one thing, but all together more disturbing is how Usurper chooses to wake us. It’s not the cute and glorious little coos and ahhhs that our toddler Little Miss use

The 1st most annoying alarm clock is the Clocky. Once you saw its design you will know that Clocky specialty is that it can move all around. An alternative title for this post would be something along the lines of ‘Why Not to Post Something when Google’s Translation Makes Absolutely No Sense Whatsoever’.
One of the problems with hunting far and wide for original content is that we often have to rely on Google’s translation of a language foreign to us in order to glean the necessary information in order for us to post. And, if the original language happens to be Korean then it has to be said that this invariably results in us tearing our hair out in order to make some kind of sense of the resulting nonsense.

The Fire Bell Alarm Clock will jolt you awake every morning with a loud, piercing fire alarm that is impossible to ignore.
I am not sure how this thing compares to the Sonic Bomb alarm clock but it sounds like it is pretty goddamn loud.
The only thing worse then you having to wake up to this at 6:00 a.m. is realizing that half your apartment complex is standing outside because they thought the fire alarm was going off.
