I don’t know if any of you guys saw the “My Humps Parody” by Alanis Morissette yet but it has been circulating blogs like crazy and getting tons of online hits on Youtube. The video is hilarious! It actually points out how silly that song, “My Humps,” by the Black Eyed Peas was… I must admit, I was really diggin this joint when it first came out too– it was just so damn catchy! SMH, anyway the video has become so popular that it has somehow made its way to FERGIE! Now, you’d suspect she would be pissed at the video or even offended but not at all!

I’ve seen this video in a few places and needed to post it here on YouTube Digger. It’s Alanis Morissette with her cover of the Black Eyed Peas song ‘My Humps’. I was never a fan of the original but it was a big song and the video was everywhere at the time, it seemed every day when I switched MTV on, there it was. So I appreciate Alanis’ cover of it, even though I still don’t like the song, the video is excellent…
It shows Ms Morissette has a sense of humour, which I was starting to doubt. I’ve been a fan of hers in my time, owning both her first two albums, but since then, she’s been a bit off my radar. Why she chose this song to cover right now, I haven’t a clue but it’s a good effort none the less. This morning, I woke up with a major headache; a later-than-usual Memorial (8:45, and yes, it was a very good Memorial) and late night coffee will do that to a guy's head. A few weeks ago I talked about girls kissing girls "because they were drunk". And how I laughed at them all for being so naive. So it is with great irony that I tell you that last night, one of these girls was my girlfriend. And no, unfortunately the other girl was not me, but one of her other best friends. I'm not quite sure how to take it. I believe her when she says it meant nothing and had I been a guy, it probably wouldn't be a big deal (and quite possibly a turn on). But I'm obviously not a guy and it hurts that whilst I'm at home, my girlfriend is out kissing other people, regardless of who it is and what sex they are.
