Junto con Warner Bros. ya habrían firmado para adaptar esta gran obra de arte en dos films, el primero a estrenarse en el verano yanki del 2009. Según trascendió el director sería Ruari Robinson, un irlandés conocido en el medio por algunos cortos realizados nominados al oscar. According to Cinimatical a script for AKIRa was written back in 2003 by James Robison and the WB recently hired Irish director Ruairi Robinson to mastermind the project. What can we expect from him? Personally I think this movie could be straight uncut raw dope, as long as they stick to the details.
