I have an interesting video for you today. When I first saw it, I was thinking of using it as some sort of a theme video for my Malay Women in Malaysia blog. But after playing the video for couple of times, I changed my mind. Eating more cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower is associated with a reduced risk of aggressive prostate cancer.
Several studies have demonstrated an association between eating vegetables and a reduced risk of prostate cancer, but study results have not been consistent and many have not investigated the association among patients with aggressive prostate cancer.
Victoria Kirsh, Ph.D., of Cancer Care Ontario in Toronto and colleagues evaluated the possible association in 1,338 prostate cancer patients diagnosed in the Prostate, Lung, Colorectal and Ovarian Cancer Screening Trial. Each of the men completed a 137-item food-frequency questionnaire.
They found that eating fruits and vegetables was not associated with decreased prostate cancer risk in general. But greater consumption of dark green and cruciferous vegetables, especially broccoli and cauliflower, was associated with a decreased risk of aggressive prostate cancer.

I was talking to someone the other day who has in the last 6 months started working for a large US bank, one of those places where it seems so many of the staff are always bordering on being angry and as soon as you arrive you are on your way out (Sounds like a nice work environment. Ed).
He said how aggressive the staff are. When I asked him was it the ‘looking for excuses to get rid of people type of stuff?’ He agreed, but also said that quite often when they have shafted someone they will end up taking the person back on 6 months later. When I said ‘don’t tell me as a consultant at a huge daily fee?’ He laughed. No doubt the aggressive attitude is something to do with ‘if you can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen’ stuff.
I suppose it separates the men from the boys and all that but ultimately its got to be counterproductive. You could, if you were very confident in your job, say ‘this aggressiveness is stopping me doing

I’m going to start posting some examples that demonstrate the problem lenders face vis-a-vis overly aggressive mortgage brokers. This is a complex problem that requires specific definition of the term ‘aggressive’. In this context ‘aggressive’ means a broker who is pushing the limits and/or guidelines set by a lender for certain loan programs in a nefarious manner. Aggressive does not mean that the broker is pushing the borrower - at least not where this blog is concerned. Predatory would be more akin to a broker pushing, abusing, or ignoring a borrower’s best interest.
