Trooker comes to us via Stumble Upon and it’s an interesting stumble to say the least. The site is a video aggregate of most of the popular video sites out there. Their service allows searches that scour Myspace, Youtube, Metacafe, Live video and Daily Motion to give you just the video you were looking for. Other than being a search engine for videos that all play on their homepage, they also allow what they call “trooking” which basically equates to live chatting about a video. You can also send single videos or entire sets of videos you find interesting to friends and then follow up with some reviews or random chatter via their instant messaging service. They also allow embedding of single videos or sets of videos. So if you have 3 or 4 videos you want to put on your myspace page but don’t want to take up the space that youtube does, combine them in trooker and have a cleaner page. (screen shot below)
