This morning, I struck a conversation with a guy from Burma who had helped me paint an office space some weeks ago.
His family is in Yangon which sat smack in Nargis’ path. Thankfully, he has managed to contact them, and they are fine. It seems communications has mostly been restored to the city.

Microhoo Aftermath, Day 2: It's Not Over 'Til It's OverEric Savitz (Barron's) submits: So let's take a look at how the major players are doing on the second day of trading after Microsoft's (MSFT) decision to walk away from its bid for Yahoo (YHOO). Yesterday, neither MSFT nor YHOO shares behaved quite as expected. MSFT, which in theory was going to rally on Monday, actually lost ground. There were two reasons for this. One, there was considerable speculation that the company could at some point try again. And two, there are worries about what approach the company takes instead to bulk up its presence on the Web. Following the killing of four and the wounding of nine students at Kent State University by Ohio National Guard on May 4, 1970, numerous pro-war and anti-war activities happened. To give you a feeling of these activities, here are news items from “Day by Day: The Seventies,” Volume 1, 1970-1975, by Thomas Leonard, Cynthia Crippen and Marc Aronson: May 4 -- President Nixon describes Kent State shootings as unfortunate and calls for protection of the right to peaceful dissent. May 4 -- Presidents of 37 colleges and universities warn Nixon that the nation’s youth are being alienated by war policies. May 5 -- Students at Stanford and University of Maryland begin strikes to protest Nixon’s war policies. May 5 -- At a White

Today is the last day of the Havaianas Event in Rockwell Tent, Makati City. It was extended until today since they want to cater more Havaianas fanaticos. Yesterday Cyril and I, with our friends (Jot, Dante and Berong) went to Rockwell to witness the event. We were already there at 9:30 in the morning. Havaianas fans are already lined up outside. We lined up and chitchat while waiting for the opening of the event. The event started at exactly 10:00 AM and we waited for our turn to go inside. It was orderly though and there were usherettes who guide and show the people what to do or where to go. While waiting for our turn, the usherettes gave us an order form to fill out.

Hmm, after owning a brand new Probation License, I can't help it but to try driving on my own a car, but it seems that people around me aren't letting my hands touching the steering wheel yet. Hey, I wanna try it out, to see whether I should really pass or not! Never mind that now, since, I don't feel like driving anymore. (Gee, waste of the license O.o) Haha, I'm still childish even though I had turn 18 a few days ago. XD Anyway, that is not the main point. The thing is.. I wanna drive now and determine my ability driving in real road, the ones that I didn't memorized because of the driving test. Anyway, a big thanks for those who wished me! Thanks for remembering and caring! Now that I realise, I feel kinda blank on what I should really write about. Haha :DTata XD

Housing prices must find their own equilibriumFrom the Register Guard's Opinion page:Housing prices in Portland increased 23 percent in 2006. Clearly, such increases could not be sustained. Now that the party is over, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson has arrived with a hangover remedy. His palliative may provide some relief, as might proposals in Congress and on the presidential campaign trail to stave off home foreclosures. But the only real cure will be time, which will bring housing prices more closely in line with qualified buyers’ ability to pay.Paulson suggests reorganizing the agencies that oversee the nation’s banks and financial markets, most of which are unchanged since the 1930s. To the extent that the implications of these changes can be understood, the secretary’s plan inc

By Umi Hani Sharani and Nor Baizura BasriPUTRAJAYA, March 15 (Bernama) -- Following are extracts of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's interview with BERNAMA TV's (BTV) commentator, Datuk Zuraidah Atan, at the prime minister's official residence, Seri Perdana on Friday. The interview touched on the stock market, investor confidence, economic policies and projects in the aftermath of the 12th general election.BTV: In the aftermath of the general election, we all know how the stock market or Bursa Malaysia went. It was rather volatile and the market required some sort of confidence. What would your message be to the investors?PM: I have to make sure that they have confidence in the government. That is very important. The first thing I have to do is to form a Cabinet. I want to
The following video has been viewed 16,396 times on YouTube as of time of writing and I supposed some of you folks out there may have seen it. Oh well… I might as well include it here in this blog for those who have not seen it before.By the way, Lim Kit Siang should learn to flash smiles like Anwar Ibrahim. He looks more like a grumpy and an arrogant old man. If that is the kind of leader that DAP is proud of then DAP seriously needs to do some soul searching too. Perhaps PAS can fix that for DAP real quick. :-)Tags: malaysia kini, malaysiakini, malaysiatoday, malaysia election, 2008 election, barisan nasional 2008
Sure, Tian Chua said that squabbles between political opposition parties at the early stage are good for everybody and he further said that such squabbles are signs of a healthy and working democracy. For someone who has gone through hell in the past, squabbles or arguments are of course ‘chicken rice’ for him. What about foreign investors? Do you really think that they will see it that way?PAS, DAP & PKR should stop arguing out in the open. Do it behind closed doors. Nobody wants to hear quarrels especially from parties that have pledged support and cooperation to each other. This so called People’s Coalition party is only giving Malaysians bad names so far.My American friends have been asking a lot of questions about Malaysia after hearing negative news at their end. What am I suppos

All of a sudden, I can see that some parties in Malaysia are busy redefining the very meaning of Anti-Islam. Their intentions as far as I’m concerned are nothing but blatant attempts to further misguide Muslims here in Malaysia. Stop playing with words and redefinitions, Muslims are not stupid. As a Muslim, I found it funny to see that our Non-Muslims think Islam is only about fasting, praying and paying alms. Sure, those are three of our five main pillars of Islam but let me get this clear to all Non-Muslims out there. Islam is more than that. Islam is Ad-Deen, a ‘Way of Life’. Islam covers everything from finance, economy, judiciary, trade and plenty more. What is more important for Muslims is that we are required to uphold and glorify Islam in its entirety and this is something tha

With the results in from the March 4th Primaries, one thing is very clear. Although Hillary Clinton is still trailing Barack Obama by a substantial margin, she has the momentum. The Obama campaign issued a message saying that Clinton's attempts failed, were they watching CNN last night? Clinton's success last night will indeed carry on to the primaries that are fast approaching. Obama is still the front runner, do not get me wrong, but is it fair to say Clinton failed? Yes, she only marginally gained in the delegate count but she proved she is a serious candidate that can never be counted out. I hate hearing people say "Clinton should drop out so the Democrats can unite behind one candidate and focus on McCain". What people fail to understand is that the Democratic power struggle has made
We are now definitely on the road to Wrestlemania after a wild and exciting No Way Out PPV from Las Vegas last night. If you read my preview before you watched the show you wouldn’t have been shocked by many of the results but there was an awesome little surprise in there and some well executed matches and storylines over the course of the longest running (time duration of show from start to finish) PPV outside of the big four for some time.So as I thought may happen it now looks almost certain that we are going to see a three way for the title at Wrestlemania with Randy Orton keeping hold of his title and HHH winning the Elimination Chamber. This also means that at last we have a heel defending the title against a face at a Wrestlemania after a couple of years of Cena defending. The go
So on to the Republicans. It is a bit of a simpler storyline than the Democrats, despite having three players. Let's look at them one at a time:McCain:He did what he had to do, won the lion's share of delegates and the big states, cemented his front-runner status, and give-or-take has locked up the nomination. He has some nicey-nice he needs to make somehow with the conservative wing of his party (one shocking exit poll result I remember seeing last night: in his home state of Arizona he lost the conservative vote to Romney!). But all that being said, it is pretty difficult to see a reasonable path for either Romney or Huckabee to take the nomination from him.Romney:A poor showing for him last night, and universally seen as the loser of Super Tuesday. Won his home states of Utah and Massac

After the excitement of the Malaysian Open, it is time for the post mortem of this eventful tournament. In a tournament where most of the seeds were killed off during early rounds, it certainly does give a preview as to what we badminton fans should expect in 2008. Men's Singles After a perfect start from Lee Chong Wei, in which he won his 4th title, we badminton fans are still not very aware as to what to expect in 2008. This is mainly because of the absence of Lin Dan, who seems determined to avoid the Malaysian Open crown. Dominating the international Men's Singles badminton scene in 2007, Lin's absence means that we are unable to find out how good or bad Lin's form has become. The Korean Open might give us a better indication, as all the top players will be present. Men's Doub

I just thought I'd show everyone who reads this blog just how bad the reinstatement of Mr. Burt really is. Here is the aftermath just in this first day:Tobias Buckell, an author I deeply respect as some of you know, has decided to cancel his membership to SFWA. Read his full post here. You should read it because he offers a lot of insight into all that is going on, including an lovely link to what I'm about to link you all to.Mr. Burt has put a post on the SFWA livejournal that has sparked a lot of very angry comments asking for his resignation, including some posts from Scribd and members challenging his view that people should give him a chance even though his post is clearly one of bitterness and an example of his disinterest in keeping friendly relations with Scribd, even though Scribd is working on efforts to keep illegal posting of artist material at bay. That's all for today. More will likely spring up over the following days though. You can be sure of that.Don't get me
Unlike everyone else I didn't join in on the shopping frenzy. I stay at home and spend most of the morning laying down on the couch. After a huge meal on Thanksgiving made by my hubby, and this is cause I am a lousy cooker (just because I am a woman and I am Hispanic doesn't mean I have to be a great cooker), don't blame my mother, she try to teach me I just didn't listen. Anyways all day was about Football, more exactly the Cowboys game which by the way we won. After that you can say I spend the evening watching Comedy Central until Grey's Anatomy start.I been having some fiasco with The Boy, he started tossing and turning way to much when I am changing his diapers (just read the post about the accident). The Fathead for some reason has become very lovable, well more that usual, kissing and hugging for no reason.Right now I am just trying to organize myself, I sign up for a new Home Business, looks good, I will be posting is its any good, in case anyone is interested. Here we go Pt. 2 to the Aftermath Studio Session that we brought to you back in early October here. Once again the Leader of the New School thrusts his disappointment with the state of the market, and the good days of selling records back when Clinton was the man. You can catch Busta pumping the “The Illest Nigga” in the music game Micheal Jackson, and tackling the issue of having public opinions of other musicians, and why you can’t just be honest over your feelings. And to top off the video, Busta exits as only a he can. Catch Pt. 2 at the jump. (more…)

Now that many got their new PageRank in the toolbar, it’s time to look at the results. I still got a few data centers that were not updated but most are. Until then, it’s still not official and Google my reserve us a surprise.

1 Cool File is now PR6: The site was started at the end of July and so it went from 0 to 6. I’m happy about it because it is growing each day. The traffic is also increasing but not had fast that I would like.
McGrath Dot Ca is now PR5: Under the old url(stevesblogen.i2mfan.com) it was a PR3. Usually, it should had taken a few weeks to get the old PR but this PageRank update was longer and different so it may had caused the delay. Because of that, my PR was 0 since mid August when I moved the blog here.
McGrath Info Solution is now PR4: It was previously a 3. I did do a few contest to promote the MIS specification , Info2MIS and MIS Info Video. The main page is now in English and not a language(En,Fr) selecting pag
Page rank update… Google don’t like paid links
This week all eyes were on Google page rank update. The rumor was right that Goggle don’t like paid links…
If you were selling links in the past year you maybe one of the pages ranks updates victims. If you don’t do it anymore maybe you should ask Google to get website reconsideration at webmaster tools.
Check your page rank now
Page rank is still relevant?
Let’s face it! what ever people will say in this blogsphere, we can not act like it is not important. How many people do you know that are not using Google as their main search engine? One, maybe two?
Google search engine can drive you a lot of traffic if your page rank is higher. Face it; you should be care of it.
How much you should care about page rank?
Like I said you should care about your page rank but one thing is sure your traffic should not come from Google search engine only. You must find other way to get traffic like social network and
Bush asking for more money for his wars just after vetoing a health plan for middle-class American kids, boy talk about brass I'll say one thing for him he's got brass. You know what is always attached to these requests for this money war in Iraq, the stipulation of somehow questioning the support of troops always comes into play here, if the troops were actually being supported they would be home with their families in America.I know we could always tie in the same rhetoric such as if you support middle-class health care for children then the SCHIP bill would have been signed. The Dem's have grown weak over the years just stick to their guns and go for it and I believe correct me if I'm wrong but the SCHIP bill I think required $35 billion as it was written.Harry Reid had this to say; "We've been fighting for America's priorities while the president continues investing only in his failed war strategy -- and wants us to come up with another $200 billion and just sign off on it?"
Today was the free Internet Marketing 2.0 workshop given by me. The crowd was small and i can have more attention for them. I got some good reviews and some worth to take note comment where i can improve on my presentation. No one can ever give a 100% excellent presentation, so we must take feedback from audience and that’s where we improve.
I shared about the difference between Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 sites and some general information about internet marketing as i had limited time to come out with more advance information. The other reason is that i been to alot of seminars and saw alot of newbies totally lost at the advance strategies and informations shared by the gurus! The first of all, they must get their basic right and been in it for sometime, then i can say they will see the picture at what the gurus are trying to convert.
Above is some photos of my workshop today. More workshop to come from me and i am looking forward to everyone as i seek and love to communicate and b

Last week, I gave away more than $800 in prizes to promote 1 Cool File.
The first contest was held on my blog with a $500 main prize. The result was disappointing and it failed to increase the number of bloggers on my blog directory thus adding affiliates. I’m now sure that some taught it was another scam. The winner was happy to have less competition on that one. He also bought a Blog Buffet to increased it’s chances and it paid off.
The second was held on ProBlogger’s blog with a $300 prize but was part of too many prizes. Even Darren mentioned it here. I had a lot more traffic during that period from his blog but it did not convert at all. I hope that the other sponsors did better than me.
My faith in big money contest is very low for now. But, if I were to do another one, I would make it an exclusive with a top blogger with a lot of traffic.
That’s why I made a promotion instead(vote on the sidebar). This will earn me some money while giving par

I spotted a huge Ganesha idol being taken out from Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad last Sunday. Apparently it was immersed in the lake after Ganesha Chaturthy festival and what you see below is aftermath of the festival. The idol was really huge, made from plaster of paris with steel reinforcement. The idol which was worshipped by hundreds of people for 7 odd days was being brutally destroyed by works who wanted to gain some scrap value out of it and clean the mess.At first, what came to my mind was why can’t we reuse this component (Ganesha idol)? (IT influence you see!) I.e. why are we creating this idol every year, dispose them off few days later and re create from scratch again next year? After the festival why cant we preserve the idol and use it again next year? Will the annual maintenance expense (of preserving this idol for one year) be more expensive than new idol? I’m not sure. But on second thought, I realized that such a practice (of reusing the idol) would defeat the v
Girl stripped in class for missing homework Sun Sep 30, 2007 2:23 PM IST NEW DELHI (Reuters) - A seven-year-old girl was made to strip naked by her teacher in a New Delhi school for not completing her homework, a police spokesman said on Sunday. The minor was made to strip completely naked and stand on a desk in her class on Friday while other students were asked to boo her, the officer said. "The teacher was arrested on a complaint by the parents but she has been released as it was a bailable offence," Rajan Bhagat told Reuters over the telephone. "This is barbaric," Shanta Sinha, head of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, said in a newspaper report. "No one has the right to outrage the modesty of a child." Why am I'm devoid of all emotions
like a cold statue in the moonless night
Disillusioned, numb, and lifeless
eyes dead in total darkness
love strayed...

The government of Thailand has decided to repatriate 8,000 Hmong refugees who have lived in their nation for over thirty years after escaping communist rule in Laos. The Hmong fought alongside America in the Vietnam conflict and this group was never allowed an opportunity to enter America, they have languished in refugee camps in Thailand. Human Rights condemned the return of the Hmong noting they fled from “political persecution and rights abuses” and face the prospect of discrimination once back in Laos. Thailand has virtually ignored these people to the extent of not even providing education for the children.
Where is the United States on this issue? The Hmong risked all in aiding American military forces and now they are abandoned once again. For once, President Bush might support with action his brave words about helping the oppressed of the world.
Barely 24 hours had passed since Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s launched his latest Weapon of Mass Disclosure against Barisan Nasional but some folks had all ready voiced their unwavering support for the attack. :-) By the way folks, Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s latest Weapon of Mass Disclosure has a new nickname. Malaysians are fond of calling it as the Lingam Tape nowadays. So, if you hear someone says ‘Lingam Tape’ in the future, rest assured that it is not a title of a new Tamil or Hindi Bollywood movie. It is our own Malaysian Bloodywood movie production. :-) Its actual trail of destruction may not be visible just yet but give it a few more weeks and I’m sure that chaos and despair would wreak havoc in the heart of Barisan Nasional. Pee and poo shittings would be common sights then. Yes folks, expect to see more ‘najis’ in the next few weeks. Putrajaya would stink so much then. :-) MalaysiaKini today reported that our Malaysian Bar Council found the Lingam Tape as
Bowyer Busts His NutClint Bowyer is the guy who has never been laid, but finally manages to lose his virginity when it counts -- on prom night. If there was ever a time for the #07 to go from boy to man, it would be the first race in The Chase. As is typical for how these things seem to work out, Sports Illustrated says Bowyer is dating the woman his fellow drivers would most want to bang.As good as it was for Clint, the rest of us just kind of had to lay there and not fall asleep.Eight days earlier, Richmond gave us the most exciting COT race yet. Richmond at night has become the new Bristol. Hard fighting, bumping and banging. Sadly, the first race in The Chase didn't live up. One of the five most boring of the year.Clint Bowyer started from the pole, led the most laps and won the race by
It wasn't supposed to go like this. Fresno State was not supposed to travel to Eugene for the fourth time in the past fifteen years and come home with a loss like this. The Dogs were supposed to go to Eugene and compete with an athletic Ducks team. The Dogs were supposed to go into Eugene and show they were ready for big time college football. Instead the Dogs left Eugene wondering if they were indeed ready for that step up level of college football. Make no mistakes about this one: Oregon is a better team than our Fresno State Bulldogs. Oregon has speed, size, and the ability to take over a game right from the first snap. Oregon will force you into making mistakes and will continually put pressure on the offense to make a play. Unfortunately Fresno State was not able to come through when it mattered the most in this game. Terrible decisions by senior leaders on the Bulldogs would be what did the Dogs in. Marcus Riley's late hit on Dennis Dixon could be viewed as the momentum changin

Many people wonder how life can ever be the same
again after a tragedy such as the collapse of the bridge in Minneapolis. While
things will never be the same for people after having experienced such a
tragedy, healing is possible and life can become meaningful once again.
Today I’m going to talk about how to handle the
aftermath if one was on the bridge and survived. The next blog entry will
address how to deal with having lost a loved one. Even if you weren’t directly
affected by the bridge collapse, the principles I’ll discuss may be helpful to
you should you or your loved ones be touched by difficult circumstances.
There are several steps to take if you were
involved in a disaster:
• recognize that you will feel many emotions in the
aftermath of this tragedy
• reduce expectations regarding functioning
• make and prioritize list of things that need to be done; i.e. submit insurance
claims, make funeral arrangements, contact employer (whatever might be

When I posted about Being “Evil” with the Technorati bug thus making more money, I also took the chance of being noticed by bigger blogs that I visit daily and it worked with John Chow.
Steve, what did you do?
I did a few things right:
I trackback to him and a few others on there post about the bug. I did not over do it
I had an original title that used “Evil” and “Make Money”. My title did not mentioned I was number 1 on Technorati like many did
I went a step further than just posting about the bug itself. I had ranking more in my mind lately and that’s why I taught of it.
I remained honest by keeping my current price on ReviewME
I took a chance
Steve, did it change your life?
Yes, I’m now a millionaire. Just kidding But I’m working on that with 1 Cool File and the MIS specification.
Thanks to John’s post, I was able to get more traffic from him and a few others. And because many had installed the Alexa Toolbar for

How does it feel to be married?
It feels wonderful. I’m back to work. Nothing has changed drastically. But it’s a wonderful feeling to be married to one’s best friend
I thought you dad was your best friend?
Can’t I have two best friends? I’m a very friendly person.
Is it possible to be best friends with [...]
Dave Neads writes from knowledge and experience about the forestry industry in BC. After hoping it would go away or some miracle cure would appear, the reality of the pine beetle aftermath is beginning to set in. This is going to require a deep, cultural change from those of us in affected areas, whether we are involved with forestry or not. Dave's article provides a welcome perspective. (The photo is mine - taken today in my backyard).LET'S JUST FIX IT"Why can't they just fix it, spray the trees or something?" This question came from a European traveler visiting the Chilcotin Cariboo, but it may have just as easily been posed by someone from the lower mainland or even from Williams Lake.Even though this person had driven from Williams Lake to Anahim Lake, had done a flightsee over the West Chilcotin, had spent a lot of time on back roads, and had seen the size and extent of the beetle kill, the scale of the problem was still incomprehensible. The question still came "Why can't
The other day, I responded to a post from Martin Cothran, Senior Analyst for the Family Foundation on his blog, vere loqui, regarding the Meredith decision. In the blogosphere, you get a response for that. I'm not sure how far I want to carry this, but for now... To recap:Martin asserted schools have "sacrificed children to the idols of egalitarianism and diversity..." I think equality is guaranteed by the Constitution and diversity is part of the human condition. Generally speaking, tribalism is fear. I think we are called to do the harder work. He's pleased with the Meredith decision. Me, not so much....warns that districts may find other means to accomplish it's purposes. I agree and pointed out how. Socio-economics....awards the Prize for the best sound bite to Chief Justice John Roberts: "The way to stop discrimination on the basis of race is to stop discriminating on the basis of race." Yep. He gets my vote....asserts the media has avoided using the words "busing" and "social
Even though MTUC went ahead with the nationwide picket last Monday, the Malaysian public did not really join and support them in numbers! This is very sad indeed. Most Malaysians who are working in the private sector suffers dearly nowadays due to the insanely increasing costs of living but they do not want to take this opportunity to express their frustrations. :(What happened to Malaysians today, huh? Please do not chicken out on issues that matters such as this. Are you satisfied by just complaining about the hardship of life among friends and colleagues in coffee shops and mamak stalls (Indian restaurants)? Malaysians made a lot of noises all right but they do not have the guts to shout it all out to the rest of the world. :(What about you Malaysian Malay women, huh? You ladies made up the majority of workers in the private sector. Are you really that happy with those measly Malaysian Ringgit $500-700 (equivalent to US$140-200) monthly salaries? Come on now. You may have your wealt
I believe all the turmoil around Yahoo!, after CEO Terry Semel quit, fortifies the case for a merger with eBay, which I defended before.
Keep in mind that Google is the perennial enemy to both. Microsoft on the other hand is carefully treated as an equally beleaguered colleague, rather than as a competitor.
The recent animosities by no means endanger a Yahoo!/eBay merger:
Google was ready to
BlogCamp Pune happened on 16th June 2007
IBNlive ’s Video coverage about the BlogCamp Pune below:
First, hats off to Tarun & Parag for organising this BlogCamp Pune
Shilpa Dhamija’s article in IBNLive was titled:
“Write blogs, earn up to Rs 1 lakh”.
No doubt, Eklavya & Team from WatBlog are doing a great job covering the Internet Advertising and Technology scene in India. However Shilpa’s article would be interpreted by a newbie as an easy way of making fast money. Well, please, please don’t be under this impression. For every blogger who makes 1 lakh per month, there are more than 1000 bloggers who make nothing. [me included]
I just wanted to that straight.
Back to BlogCamp Pune on 16th June. Started off with no WiFi , but Good T-Shirts!
So far, the best run down blog coverage, I could find was that by Lokesh Sapre. I would request you to read his post here.
The threads that i sat through were of Purple Nova, Fropper & SMS Gupshup
Well, if you are a Orioles' fan, today will not be a day forgotten for a while.Today, now more than ever, I know for sure the Baltimore Orioles are more screwed up than I ever realized. From the way the press conference this afternoon was held, to the way they treated the media covered the events at the Yard, to just the general mood of fans, things are not right with the team. From the looks of it, this team has no direction, no passion and seems to be completely lost.A few of the players spoke out at the Yard today, but most ignored the press.By the way, I watched the press conference again -- very surreal. It almost looked for a few moments that Mike Flanagan choked up and got emotional. It was even weirder that Dave Trombley was not even there to address the media.Furthermore, you have to read this blurb by Roch Kubatko, as the Orioles closed access to the clubhouse and the reporters had to try to track down players in the parking lot!!!"Meanwhile, the Orioles are keeping reporters
I can't bring myself to post a picture of the Cubs, and I don't wish to post a picture of the Braves, so I've chosen a picture of myself after I got home from work last night, after a horrible day at work, and a horrible day at Wrigley.
And in this corner, hailing from Atlanta Georgia...
I just don't know what to say anymore.
From the Daily Herald:
The big action at Wrigley Field on Friday was in the Chicago Cubs' dugout.
Pitcher Carlos Zambrano and catcher Michael Barrett shoved each other and had to be separated in the fifth inning of the Cubs' 8-5 loss to the Atlanta Braves.
Atlanta had just scored five runs in the top of the fifth to increase their lead to 7-1. Jeff Francoeur's two-run double made it 4-1 and, with runners on first and second, Barrett allowed a passed ball and threw wildly to third for an error that let Scott Thorman score. Pitcher Kyle Davies (3-3) and Kelly Johnson followed with RBI doubles.
Zambrano (5-5) was seen pointing at his head and yelling at
