I’ve set up my company Rising Son Entertainment. And the first film goes on the floors in June-July,” the actor said.“I’m turning a producer to create opportunities for myself, to do roles and films that would otherwise not come to me. Mumbai, After trying his hand at serious marital drama in “Ankahee”, Aftab Shivdasani has decided to return to the farcical fold with “Aankh Micholi”.
After two comic hits “Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega” and “Masti” and turning down several offers to get seriously funny, Aftab has decided to swerve back into a familiar lane.
“That’s right,” Aftab revealed. “I’m going back to comedy with Anant Mahadevan’s film which is tentatively titled ‘Aankh Micholi’. It’s a fun film featuring Fardeen Khan and me,” Aftab told IANS.
“Then there’s another comedy with E. Niwas featuring Riteish Deshmukh. People have enjoyed watching me with Fardeen in ‘Love Ke Liye…’ and with Riteish in ‘Masti’. So I suppose you’d call it a winning combination.”
However, the actor doesn’t sound too happy about returning to comedy.
