For most people, advertising is a waste of money. We’ve all known within the industry that Google has been working on a phone to compete with the iPhone and others for some time now. In fact, I’ve seen and heard bits and pieces relating to this in the rumor mill for well over a year now. It turns out, that such rumors are true (confirmed by my sources) and Google has apparently been shopping around looking for providers worthy of carrying the coveted Google product. No one knows the exact specifications of the phone, but I have been hearing that it will waive traditional monthly fees and instead be advertisement supported. What this actually means and how many advertisements we will be subjected to is purely speculation at this point. If anyone has any other information, please post a comment. Thanks!

Who are the people who think up television commercials. Yeah I know they’re from advertising agencies. But what I’m wondering is who are they really. What type of people are they? Some adverts are really good. Personally I love the new MTN adverts - I know a lot of people despise them, because they don’t advertise the products or services offered, but I think they’re pretty creative. There are a couple of ads which I can think of now which are pretty lame. They don’t hold any connection with the products or services, and neither are they creative. They just don’t make sense. Help me out if you know the meaning of the Peroni (beer) advertisement? It has a kinda catchy tune, but that’s all. It doesn’t make much sense to me. I’m just wondering where these advertisers get their ideas from. I seriously think some of them smoke pot before starting to work on a new project. Others are just so bland that I doubt a professional
