I have been seeing and hearing this verse in my head throughout a good part of the past week. It’s in my head when I ride on the train to work and on the way home from work, it’s in my head when I read the Bible and am compelled to turn to it, and it’s in my head so often I cannot but already etch it deep into both consciousness and sub-consciousness.
Now, I don’t know why God is reminding me so strongly of the verse but I know the reasons for it shall be revealed to me one day.
As I ask God for the “why”, I believe He has revealed to me the “how”.

Here is some of my harvest. My herbs just about always do better than my vegetables. I have loads of cucumbers and some tomatoes and as you can see a nice bundle of chives.
But my pride and joy at the moment is this beautiful Basil. The first year I planted it I planted 12 plants and watered them with human urine (its a long story but it worked out really well). My the first of August I had a gallon bag full of chopped basil in the freezer and I could no longer even give it away!
I was hoping to get enough to make my basil bread recipe. I like to make it when its cold outside and we have a fire in the fireplace. I will sit trays of it in front of the fireplace to rise before putting it in the oven. Here is the recipe.
Basil Bread
2 pkgs yeat
1 1/2 cups warm water
1/3 cup shortening
4 cups unbleached flours
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
