This is for the beginner medical transcriptionist just to show you some of the abbreviations I use most every day when transcribing my doctor's dictation.One thing that scared me about becoming an MT was typing drug prescriptions. I had no medical background so I was not sure I would be able to do it. But I discovered that after awhile medical terminology became a second language and the more you did it the better you got.
