Aucune charge n’a été retenue contre lui, il est donc ressorti libre et s’est déclaré heureux. Il a remercié d’ailleurs tous ceux qui l’ont soutenu durant cette épreuve.

Today Google unveiled Chrome, an open-source web browser built for web apps. The release begs the question: What happened to its relationship with Mozilla, its Mountain View, Calif.-based neighbor and formerly close collaborator on Firefox, the open-source upstart trying (and to some extent succeeding) to take a piece out of Internet Explorer?
C. Peters Wagner’s statement below on the aftermath of Lakeland is damage control of the highest apostolic sort, and Lord how we do not need alignments and coverings like this! It looks like some interesting news came out of yesterday’s hearing on the joint select committee overseeing the Texas Youth Commission:
The Texas Youth Commission’s conservator is taking steps toward abandoning the state’s long-time strategy of farming youth offenders out to large, remote prisons.
Richard Nedelkoff said Wednesday that he has the wheels in motion to move juveniles to the facilities closest to their homes – which will probably mean phasing out or closing less-populated rural prisons.
Lawmakers believe the isolation of the youth prisons, which were the subject of widespread reports of physical and sexual abuse last year, contributed to their poor conditions.
“Right now we have kids all over the place,” Mr. Nedelkoff said at a legislative he

Price increases have surged to the fastest in 10 years as the currency's link to the falling U.S. dollar has raised import prices. China, Hong Kong's biggest trading partner, is accelerating gains in the yuan boosting the costs of eggs, chicken and rice from the mainland. "The pressures on the peg all rotate around inflation,'' Craig Chan, a foreign exchange strategist at Lehman Brothers in Singapore, said in an interview today. "While I'm not expecting a break of the peg, the pressures to test it are building up.'' The Hon
Tiger Woods Urged To Abandon Albany -
By Tameka Lundy:
Nassau, Bahamas:
A local environmental protection group is attempting to take its concerns about a multimillion-dollar exclusive resort development under construction in southwest New Providence to one of three golf pros behind the development, asserting that in its present form the project is not sustainable and some components should be eliminated.
The Director of ReEarth, Sam Duncombe, is seeking to draw outside attention to the potential problems that the Albany Beach and Golf Resort could pose for The Bahamas and has written a letter to Tiger Woods, one of the partners behind the project.
In her letter, she registers her deep concern for the environmental and social problems associated with the Albany project and urges Mr. W
It’s not unusual to hear prognostications of doom and gloom when the markets are in disarray, as they have been for several months now. A front page article on the Wall Street Journal this past week would indicate that stocks might be in store for a ten year lull, in other words, dead flat performance. If you read the headline alone (“Stocks Tarnished by Lost Decade: U.S. Shares in Longest Funk Since 1970’s), you might just consider running for the exits in a fit of panic. But, should investors worry and should they consider abandoning equities for safer bets? Not quite, here’s why.
This little gem from Moonbattery
It’s a good thing the education field is completely dominated by moonbats, because they’re always the ones who come up with cutting-edge ideas — like no longer teaching children how to write:

First off, thanks to Mr. Everett (The) for inspiring this post. It’s been a long winter break for me, and I needed to get back to posting every now and then. Now, let me say that I’m glad to read at the end of your recent post that you will vote for John McCain if he wins the GOP nomination. I was a little worried reading it at first, because I, for one, am getting pretty upset with hearing conservatives claiming they will not support McCain if he gets the nomination. McCain wasn’t my first choice….wasn’t my second. But a vote for Hillary/Obama over McCain is every bit the same as just staying home and not voting. Both of those options are entirely UNACCEPTABLE. Not in this election. Not at this point in our country’s history. A Republican presidential victory is crucial in this
How long does it take for one to abandon their blogs? Or better yet, how long of a “vacation” do they take away from their blogs before they consider coming back? Well, the fact that many people tend to give up because they don’t see instant results, or it simply isn’t what they expected, those sites are just left there for dead. But I decided to do my own hands on experiment to see how many blogs have been “abandoned till this very day” or “abandoned at some point, then continued months later.”What I did was do random searches for blogs (Wordpress and Blogger) using their “next blog” feature. I broke it down into a couple various categories:- Blogs that are less than a month old,- Blogs that have not been updated for over a month,- Blogs that are now active but have taken at least a month off at some point- And blogs that are currently active that is two months or olderNow I know this excludes a lot of blogs but this was just a test, and I only got a chance to go

Is it time for Microsoft to abandon Vista and move on to something else? Maybe Microsoft should consider doing what Apple did and create an OS based on an existing UNIX based system (BSD, Linux, Amiga, etc...). Or maybe Microsoft should “move up the time table” of Windows 7, Min-Win or Microsoft Singularity and make a radical change? Or maybe they incorporate some of the forgotten features of Longhorn into a “new and glorious” Operating System? How about taking some of their experimental technologies, like “Singularity” and fusing it with a UNIX based OS? Or Microsoft just buyout Novell now and make a new Linux based OS (Microsoft SUSE)? Hey, I’m not saying that Vista is totally bad; however it is starting to look more and more like the "Windows ME" situation. My apologies to the Windows ME lovers still out there on planet “Wishful thinking”, but I digress! In some of the business sectors I work in, I.T/MIS departments and various individuals alike will not touch Micr
A romantic couple can experience many different types of love, but “Runaway Love” is probably the most sought after kind of romance . . . and one of the most dangerous and difficult to achieve.
So, what is Runaway Love? Simply put, Runaway Love is the type of romance that completely overpowers a person and makes everything else in life seem completely unimportant in comparison. Runaway Love makes a person feel as though their romance gives them the ability to run away from all other cares and worries in their life. When you experience Runaway Love, your romantic relationship becomes the single most important aspect of your existence.
First of all, why is Runaway Love difficult to find? Mainly because most people are too pragmatic to make a romantic relationship more important than anything else in their life. Sure, many people may say that their lover is the most important thing to them, but if it came down to choosing between their romance or their children, for examp

While Vista was originally touted by Microsoft as the operating system savior we've all been waiting for, it has turned out to be one of the biggest blunders in technology. With a host of issues that are inexcusable and features that are taken from the MAC OS X and Linux playbook, Microsoft has once again lost sight of what we really want.As we're more than aware, Vista Ultimate comes at a premium. For an additional $160 over the Premium SKU price, Ultimate gives you a complete backup and restore option, BitLocker Drive encryption, the ever so popular Windows Fax & Scan, and the "Ultimate Extras." But what started with a promise of "Extras" by summer, quickly turned into an apology from Microsoft and the eventual release of DreamScene and Windows Hold 'Em (among others) today. And while each of the "Extras" runs just fine, Microsoft's "Extras" blunder is just another reason why the company must abandon Vista before it's too late. The first indication that Microsoft should abando
Matt Cutts said in his reply to some of the page ranking issues passed to him by forum members at the digitalpoint forum." As far as the toolbar PageRank, I definitely wouldn’t expect to see it in the next few days. Probably not even in the next couple weeks, if I had to guess. "So , what to expect from this comment. Google Really moving away from his Page Rank System. What could be the reason behind it ? Does google not happy with the promotional sites providing link building or PR optimization services ? Now what happen to all such sites who are link dependent ?If there is no Page Rank, then there will be no double standards in Google’s Search Results anymore. If there is no ranking, then all those back links and back link system will loose its services. Everything will be in the hand of Google, decide who gets listed the first few pages of their Search Results. For More : Read ThisBookmark this Article :
Sometimes, it seems to me as though some leftists are astoundingly incapable of congratulating someone for having the bravery to stand up and do what they feel is the right thing. I'm going to give at least two examples here of some who're like that.
First, there's the Detroit News, once a respectable newspaper but now a low-grade propaganda machine, which wrote a sob story for Jay Bennish, yet
Germany will gradually phase out its coal mining, after declaring that it makes no economic sense. Subsidies to phase out the mining over the next decade will cost 30 billion euros ($41 billion.) A 200-year tradition will come to an end in Europe's largest economy. On Wednesday, the German government approved phasing out coal mining by 2018. Germany's eight coal mines employ approximately 33,000 people. The phase-out is planned to start in 2009, with miners receiving government compensation. "A great, long era is coming to an end in a socially responsible way," Economy Minister Michael Glos said Wednesday. An industry without a futureCoal mining "has no future" Glos said. For decades, the industry has been heavily subsidized to the tune of more than 160 billion euros, he said.Inexpensive coal from abroad undercuts the expenses associated with heavily-subsidized domestic mining, he said. Seven of the mines are in the western German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. One is in Saarland
Bronwen Maddox assesses the mood in Baghdad and Washington in The Times:The Republican support for US troops in Iraq is falling apart even more quickly than the Iraqi Government itself. It is no surprise that a sketch is taking shape in Washington for a “half-exit” for US forces...For more than a year, the US has been giving al-Maliki the benefit of the doubt, preferring to think that he could not push through reforms, not that he would not. It is now hard not to conclude that he won’t.Yet few senators are going to push for a full withdrawal. The US cannot afford to leave completely, abandoning Iraq to its neighbours and al-Qaeda. A tempting answer, and one being studied, is to cut troop levels and to focus on al-Qaeda, as well as securing the borders. That would help to deter Iraq’s neighbours, Arab as well as Persian, from filling the vacuum. But it would leave even more security, including in Baghdad, to unreliable Iraqi forces. It would not be a pullout, but it would be an a

Washington Post article link Don't Abandon UsBy Hoshyar ZebariFriday, May 4, 2007; A23Last weekend a traffic jam several miles long snaked out of the Mansour district in western Baghdad. The delay stemmed not from a car bomb closing the road but from a queue to enter the city's central amusement park. The line became so long some families left their cars and walked to enjoy picnics, fairground rides and soccer, the Iraqi national obsession.Across the city, restaurants are slowly filling and shops are reopening. The streets are busy. Iraqis are not cowering indoors. The appalling death tolls from suicide attacks are often high because of crowding at markets. These days you are as likely to hear complaints about traffic congestion as about the security situation. Across Baghdad there is a cacophony of sirens from ambulances, firefighters and police providing public services. You cannot even escape the curse of traffic wardens ticketing illegally parked cars. These small but significan

WASHINGTON (AP) - Top House Democrats retreated Monday from an attempt to limit President Bush’s authority for taking military action against Iran as the leadership concentrated on a looming confrontation with the White House over the Iraq war. Officials said Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other members of the leadership had decided to strip from a major military spending bill a requirement for Bush to gain approval from Congress before moving against Iran.Conservative Democrats as well as lawmakers concerned about the possible impact on Israel had argued for the change in strategy.
The developments occurred as Democrats pointed toward an initial test vote in the House Appropriations Committee on Thursday on the overall bill, which would require the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq by Sept. 1, 2008, if not earlier. The measure also provides nearly $100 billion to pay for fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The White House has issued a veto threat against the measure, and Vice P

While we're in the midst of a downside money make opportunity that doesn't come along every day, it's still a situation that's fraught with great risk, especially when there are trading days, as there were even at the end of the week last week with the TRIN can fly to dizzying heights in the morning as fear dominated, but then be followed a few hours later by 1000+ plus NYSE ticks on bursts of buying. Indonesian engineers were forced to abandon an attempt to plug a gushing mud volcano by dropping cement balls into its crater on Saturday when a steel cable hoisting the balls broke, officials said.Over the next few weeks, authorities plan to drop nearly 1,500 concrete balls, weighing up to 250 kilograms (500 pounds) each, into the geyser that started spewing noxious muck at an oil drilling field in east Java nine months ago.
The police in Washington allowed many anti-war demonstrators to vandalize the Capitol building - yes, the CAPITOL building - at the anti-war demonstration in District of Columbia this weekend (H/T: Michelle Malkin). So now, the list of police chiefs who betray their duty reaches Washington as well. The chief who allowed this should please kindly hand in his badge.A war hero who served in Iraq was also spat at by one of the dummies there, and has something quite fitting to say:In Washington, counterprotesters also converged on the mall in smaller numbers, but the antiwar demonstration was largely peaceful. There were a few tense moments, however, including an encounter involving Joshua Sparling, 25, who was on crutches and who said he was a corporal with the 82nd Airborne Division and lost his right leg below the knee in Ramadi, Iraq. Mr. Sparling spoke at a smaller rally held earlier in the day at the United States Navy Memorial, and voiced his support for the administration's policie
In order to renovate the house, someone in Japan tear open the wall. Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls. When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard stuck there because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet. He sees this, feels pity and at the same time curious, as when he checked the nail, it was nailed 10 years ago when the house was first built.
What actually happened..?
The lizard has survived in such position for 10 years!?!! In a dark wall partition for 10 years without moving, it is impossible a nd mind boggling. Then he wondered, how this lizard survived for 10 years without moving a single step - since its feet was nailed!
So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what has it been doing and what has it been eating? Later, don't know from where appears another lizard, with food in its mouth... AHHH! He was stunned and touched deeply. For the lizard that was stuck by nail, another lizard has been feeding i

One of the dichotomies of the online world is that on the one hand a website can literally outlive its owner, as shown here

while on the other hand even the best-established and longest-running site can vanish in an instant, with a single click. Despite being aware of the latter, it's always a shock to me when a blog disappears; why is it even NECESSARY for blogs to be deleted? Sure, there are times when a blogger's family, co-workers, school offic
