We had an earthquake last night. It lasted around 10 to 15 seconds. I must admit I was still asleep half way through it and thought that I was having a weird rocking dream. Anyway, once I woke up a bit and sussed out that it was in fact an earthquake and not our boiler exploding, we waited for the cries from the baby monitor. Not a peep. Emma went into their room and they were fast asleep in their cots. {summary}Now that I’ve accomplished a bit today (mmmm clean bathtub) and have time to sit and fellowship with the spirits, I thought I’d catch you up on what Rosco and I got into yesterday. We woke up early, had a quick breakfast, and then made the three hour drive to my home county.  That has to be the most delightfully boring drive you can make shy of living in the dessert and not passing any indicators of human life for hundreds of miles. Anyhoo, the moment I got there my grandma was out the door on her way to church.  Rosco and I decided to putter around and see what we could steal discover.  There were no photo albums for me to ransack, but I did find an old diary which I have since destroyed.  (oy vey.) I let Rosco toddle around outside so he could see where I played as a kid.

Had to tell this cute story before Christmas....We got our Christmas tree a couple of weeks ago right after church. Since it was nap time, I told the girls that the tree needed to rest before we decorated it. This movie from the first seconds seemed to be a hospital drama ala “ER”. It began with a message: “Every year 3,000,000 anesthesias are performed. The Awake movie website is sorely lacking in any information besides a very very VERY! brief synopses of the movie, a few movie photos, and a trailer. What it does have alot of information on is the actor's biographies (Hayden Christensen, Jessica Alba, and Terrence Howard star in it). Basically, don't bother visiting the movie website, because you will NOT find movie wallpaper, AIM Icons or anything else fun on the website! Yes, I stayed up to watch the entire Pirates game last night, although I do admit switching to Man Vs. Wild between innings. Bear Grylls eating raw zebra (video) in the middle of an African jungle is a tad more interesting than another three-run output by the Pirates. And when Bear squeezes the elephant crap (video) to drink the water because he's so dehydrated...well that clearly distanced the two television events.The Pirates have scored three runs or less a whopping 16 times in 31 games this season.
