Roughly 9 years ago, shortly after our family moved to Florida, we went on a boating trip in Port Charlotte Harbor. Our brother had come to visit us from California, and that was very exciting for me, as we were very close and and I didn’t get the chance to see him very often. So my mother, stepfather, brother and I went out to experience the sights and sounds of the Florida lifestyle. Unfortunately, we didn’t plan for the tremendous storm to move in and turn the trip in
