Here are two new ACEOs to add to my growing collection. They're both done by artist Suzanne Gonsalez who is based out of Lexington, Kentucky. She is apart of the duo Raven Wolf Gallery. I acquired these very textured and layered mixed media ACEOs through her Etsy shop. (Yes, perhaps I am addicted!) These particular ones come from two series she's been working on. One of them focuses on
I put these six ACEOs on ebay today. It has been a long time since I posted anything there and I am not sure how the market is now adays. Ebay buyers are a rowdy bunch. You never know what is going to catch their eyes and what the latest craze is.Anyway, give these a look and let me know what you think. Some are old, others are new, but all are done with care :-)
ACEO stands for "art cards - editions and originals". These little gems measure 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", the same size as a trading card. They are affordable, collectible and you can trade them, or keep them in an album (they fit in any standard trading card album or sleeves). They also looked great framed in a group! I am enjoying making these ACEOs a lot lately. I still can't bring myself to work on any large format piece, but these seem to be less stressful for me at this stage. It is actually easier to paint larger, but the stress that I am under presently keeps me from the time commitment for larger paintings. Hopefully that will change very soon, but for now enjoy these:All of these are on eBay now, so grab one if you like it.
