His coverage of May Day (May 1) commemorations in Cuba will begin on “World News” on Sunday and continue during the week. He’ll undoubtedly take a look at the state of Cuba with leader Fidel Castro aging and ailing. It’s his first foreign assignment since he and cameraman Doug Vogt were injured in Iraq in 2006.
